Yet so many OL lose a ton of weight on retirement.  Aaron Donald is probably the exception for a DT.  I believe there were more than one college football players that died from Covid.  Thus what the sports leagues did seems reasonable even in hindsight

Look, I recognize that in any science we are learning all the time.  Heck @mattwill posted a fascinating hour long lecture suggesting a modification in how we view the formation of the Rockies.  In my lifetime, we have landed on the moon and sent spacecraft out of the solar system.  They have confirmed the existence of the Higgs Boson particle.  It is perfectly acceptable to me that just like we did in 1919 with the Spanish Flu, that we let the science evolve as we went along.  Much of the science that went into the Covid vaccines came under the charges the Constitution gives our government in the advance of science.  It was a great PPP in my view and the government scientists whose work the vaccine was worked on and delivered through two administrations is currently working on a universal coronavirus vaccine.  Imagine no colds.  I am older so if they need a volunteer to try out that vaccine on, I’m game.

I don’t have a problem with how the NFL handled their COVID protocols. Given the time, I think they did an admirable job to find a balance of continuing the games and doing what they can to mitigate the spread and protect the players. I do have an issue with how guys like Rodgers, Cousins, Wentz, Beasley, etc were ostracized and torn down by the media for deciding not to get vaccinated.

Pointless to quote these. One admits the program hasn’t achieved its goal. Moreover you are pulling "support” for hunting predators from…the agencies who regulate hunting.  Maybe find some studies on cancer by big tobacco while you’re at it.

yes I know bears are hunted legally. As I said in my post. Those articles prove nothing else.

Thoughts on Vera Ellen?  Did she have ribs removed?  Her waist and legs always drove me wild in White Christmas.

Sadly, I have no thoughts on her. No sure I’ve ever seen her in a movie. Have never seen White Christmas.

Curious why Ringo isn’t signed.  It makes no sense at this point with almost all draft choices signed around the league.  Does he still believe he should have been a first round choice and that is holding him back?

Are you guys shy public poopers?  I’m not, just blast away.  Discuss!

No, it's the best way to assert dominance in an office setting.

My wife and daughters love White Christmas.  I have watched begrudgingly more than once.

Apparently the pick before him hasn't signed either and I wonder if there is some issue with offset language.  I can't imagine he's a holdout.

I hope that’s it.  Holding out makes no sense unless a player decides not to play this year.  I know a couple of years ago the NCAA loosened its rules for returning to school but Ringo is past that allowance at this point so I suspect it may be driven by the player before him.

It’s usually either offset or has to do with timing of receiving cash. I don’t think it’s going to be a problem, just no one’s motivated to do anything right now.

The story is she did not have ribs removed but always wore corsets. She was Fred Astaire's favorite dance partner, by his own words, Not Ginger Rogers.

My favorite dance partner of Fred Astaire was a hat rack.

Why would I go to that thread when most of those dopes are already here?

Not a single thing about beer in that entire Corona thread.

Corona is disgusting.

Josh Sweat for sure.  He just turned 26. Nolan Smith is primed to take over for Reddick.  The Eagles have NOTHING at DE behind Sweat.  He's your guy and you keep him.

As much as I rag on Reub for his takes, this was part of his 10 Observations today.

Sweat, who turned 26 in March, had 28 ½ sacks before his 26th birthday. Only Clyde Simmons (31 ½) and Reggie White (31) have had more in Eagles history. With just seven more sacks, Sweat would pass Jerome Brown (29 ½), Vinny Curry (30), Juqua Parker (31 ½), Mike Mamula (31 ½), Connor Barwin (31 ½), Corey Simon (32), Kenny Clarke (32 ½), William Thomas (33) and Dennis Harrison (34) and match William Fuller (35 ½) in the No. 10 spot in franchise history.

Cant agree there…

reddick is far more important but lets see what the new scheme looks like for all of them

The big Flyers news of the day...a 6th round pick

If we are ranking top Mexican beers, I say it is:

1. **** Modelo

2. Modelo Especial

3. Tecate

I'd go

1.  Pacifico

2.  Modelo Especial

3.  Bohemia Pilsner

Weird that Tecate tastes much better in the US than in Mexico where I live.  It is horrible down here in Baja California

Obviously not the forum for vaccine talk, but just for your knowledge, the vaccines are simply offshoots of cancer treatments that have been tested on humans for a decade, so if there is any long-term adverse effects, there would be some evidence.

Also, it's not the vaccine that would be the source of any problems, if there were any. It's the delivery system.

But, again, not the forum.

Agreed about not the forum.

The "vaccine" was MRNA gene therapy.   It was not a real "vaccine".

Well, yeah.  Vaccination does not equal immunization.

the covid shot was not a vaccination.   the covid shot caused your body to create spike proteins.   Someone thought it was a good idea for your body to create spike proteins.  Humans don't create spike proteins.

Thanks for informing me what is less than worthless. A 6th round NHL draft pick.

Hey they might take a guy who could end up playing in the OHL in 6 years.

Yea, Pacifico is the goat.

I always found it funny how much better Molson tasted in Canada but was trash in the US. Tecate must have the reverse problem.

The Chiefs and Dolphins‘ November 5 game at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt sold out in 15 minutes Tuesday morning, filling the 48,000-seat stadium. 1,420,587 people were in the online ticket queue within just two minutes—a figure that would represent about 1.7% of the German population.

The number of fans in the queue, in fact, exceeded the population of Frankfurt by well over 600,000.

Curious how many were bots
