"Your lower life scumbags more than anyone," Shasky raged on Tuesday's Morning Roast. "I'm sick of it. It's ok to be a dirty, crappy fan because you're in Philadelphia. If Niner fans did this, you know what they would file it under? Thugs."

The niners fans do stuff like that. No one mentions niners fans nearly as much about how bad of fan base they are. Eagles fans get it wayyyy worse anytime something like that happens. And some of it was retracted later on by players/players wives

in the season can’t come soon enough department…

Foles had the most remarkable stats as a QB, even he was not thought of as a special talent.   He is not likely to be in HOF, but he already had a few items and records in there.

If he’s willing to ring chase I’d sign him. Putting him with Brown and Smith would potentially put the offense over the top.

Foles career even in college was weird. He was up and down at Arizona. I know first hand watching him here. He was a first round pick entering his senior year then was up and down and fell to the eagles in the third. Love the dude but all time randomness in his career

The niners were talking cheap shots on players all throughout the 4th Q. They should fix their locker room first.

Here’s a fun game. Try to spell Vaitai’s first name without cheating. I made an attempt and was off by 5 or 6 so edited it out to just "Vaitai”. I think I had it as Halapouti.

One of my favorite facts is he has two brothers named Kevin and William

WTF.  Did his parents hate him at birth and wanted to passive aggressively torture him for the rest of his life?

Vaitai: Hello, I'd like to place an order for pickup for one large peperoni.

Dominos: Sure, what's the first name?

Vaitai: .....you know, I think I'm just going to stay in and cook.

Who do you move to slot?

Fascinating that a team centered around a tough, beat ‘em up defense is so incredibly soft

Softer than @hputenis 's microdong

Fans in SF will have brawls and stab each other in the parking lot, but Philly still gets the hate.

Situation/play dependent.

My favorite reply to Giglio

Giglio didn't get the response he wanted when he said the first thing in March, so now, 4 months later, with Jalen playing another ZERO games, he's clearly elevated his status to the greatest of all-time for the Eagles.   It makes sense.

I have zero respect for Giglio, seems he's just the latest #hottake artist that tries to drum up interest and conversation and will contradict himself at the drop of a hat because it is expedient for him.

Hopkins ran a lot of plays out of the slot in Arizona.  If he was here, there'd be a lot of different configurations Johnson could run moving him and Devonta around.

Not sure he'd want to be here though, he'd be competing with three other top-level talents for targets.  And he wouldn't be seen "the missing championship piece" here like he'd be in Buffalo.  He'd be 1A next to Diggs there.

Well, IMO, I'm not doing anything different with Smith and Brown, both of whom I think are, at this point, better than Hopkins. Hopkins said he'll retire when he isn't a 1000 yard receiver. Our WR3 isn't getting 1000 yards unless he's filling in for an injured Smith or Brown. So unless you think we should throw less to Smith and Brown, Hopkins likely won't be happy here. IMO, chemistry is more important than big names and I just don't see a way where signing Hopkins helps more than it hurts the team chemistry.

I also don't think Hopkins is "ring chasing" for what it's worth. He may not get a huge contract, but he isn't going to play for pennies either.

You would be correct

He lined up in the slot around 27% last season. He's much more effective outside.

Hopkins is a lot more likely to hit the wall than contribute anything meaningful to a Super Bowl team.  He's been in the league 10 years already, and his game is built on athleticism and physicality more than speed and technical savvy.

I'd bet he's on the Julio Jones path and his 'star WR' days are done.

I don't know what he's thinking.  He's not going to get a huge multi-year deal at this point in the offseason.  He should take a ring chase deal with a good QB and then get that final big pay check next year.

Maybe the Bills have offered him some vet minimum deal though and he wants more of the 1 year but a lot of money type of deal that Eagles gave Alshon in 2017.

I couldn't disagree with this assessment more.  He was still great last year.  Shows no signs of going in decline.  He's the same age that TO was when TO signed with the Eagles.  Hopkins has at least 3 more really good-great years in him.

I think he'd be more effective outside too, but running out of the slot is still something he could do if needed.

Was told by a friend who covers the team the organization was really turned off that he basically sat the end of the season due to not wanting to get seriously hurt when wanting a new deal right after getting suspended. Also he wants one last big payday

I’ve heard (word of mouth but from a very reliable source) that Hopkins is an absolute disaster to deal with. Major PITA. The fact that the Texans were so eager to get rid of him in the first place that they took a weak deal kinda points to that, doesn’t it? Loved him as a player back then, but the baggage is an absolute turn off for me. Let him be a headache for some other franchise.

2 weeks until players report to camp and still no Kelly green reveal.

I heard similarly from my friend who covers the cardinals. He really rubbed a lot of people the front way in his couple years down there.
