At least Goedert knows how to read a defense.

Also on this topic, while we're still in the slow period of the offseason, how the hell do we still have people who think the moon landing was fake? What would be the government motivation to lie about it? To win the Space Race? Ok, so they lie to win the Space Race and the USSR never disputes that claim? No other country ever disputes it to further lack of faith in the government? Basically the whole world would have to be in on the conspiracy.

Same as flat earth, there is no reason at all to lie about it, and every single country would have to be in on it. Absolute lunacy

This is one I agree with. I believe we have actually gone to the moon but the footage that was shown to the world was fake.

Steven Greer is right!!!!

Or Herb Adderley.

My Finalists are Sanders, Lane, Woodson, Woodson, Revis, and Adderley.

Unpopular Opinion… Charles Woodson is the greatest CB who ever lived. Not only a lock down guy but also more physical than anyone else on this list. He played linebacker and box safety during GB’s SB run in  2010

One of very few players in NFL history to win DMVP at CB, was still first team all-pro at 35

I remember him being one of the few that gave randy moss fits

Not more physical than the other Woodson or Night Train Lane but yes, the best DB who ever played.

Well, are we talking in their prime or their overall career?  In his prime Revis, no doubt.  Sanders was fast but allergic to tackling.  Champ Bailey was very good but played in some very good secondaries. I would take Woodson over Prime Time every day.  No Darrell Green?  Mike Haynes? Willie Brown?  Mel Blount may have been the best I ever saw play.  How a guy that big could mirror with such fluidity.  Hard to judge Night Train because it was a way different time.  But in his day, he was the GOAT.

I'm more confused how Richard Sherman and Jalen Ramsey are on the list. I don't get the Ramsey hype at all. If he's a top CB, teams wouldn't keep trading to get him off their team. Sherman was part of a great DB backfield but I don't think he's even close to a top CB in NFL history.

The moon landing was a total sham. Why haven’t we been there in years? There should be a whole space station by now

A friend of mine asked me recently what the best feeling in sports is besides winning a championship. I thought about it for a while and my answer was when you realize one of your favorite teams has a young up and coming superstar(like a top 5 talent) and you realize the next 10 years are going to be really Fing fun.

Curious to what your answer would be and if you agree with my answer.

Your kid is good enough in sports and you helped him achieve his dream to playing a professional sport. Feel like that would even top winning a title.

I agree Ramsey is overrated. He was very good but hasn’t sustained that level the last few years to be called one of the best of all time. The trade part is more circumstantial imo. He requested a trade from the Jags and then Rams shipped him off because they went all the way in for one SB and then had to trade assets to rebuild.

Golfing with my dad as a kid.  My daughter hitting a HR in the All Star game to bring in the winning run.  Standing at the fence at Lehigh watching Castillo going through hand use drills and discussing with my son, who was playing OL. My daughter learning soccer as a pee wee at the same time I was as their "coach”, and seven years later my son playing in his last league soccer game for the league championship with me as a coach and being so far ahead at the half that the entire second half the team constantly fed the ball to a teammate who missed most of the season with a broken leg so that he could score.  My daughter, the second player picked in league basketball in elementary and middle school being such a force before others caught up with her height. Playing fathers v sons in a final AAU Basketball practice with my son.  In football, my son loved OL.  I loved defense when I played (we both played both ways).  I would talk about how I enjoyed a great hit.  In his first year of middle school, he made a massive hit/stop on a special teams return.  He looked into the stands where I was nodding and cheering and made eye contact for just a second and he knew what I meant.  On a personal note, being truly the safety and the only thing between a 230 lb back and a TD with both of us running full speed. That hit sent me spinning with no idea where the ground was but stopped the runner in his tracks and down.  The back got up slowly, reached a hand out and said that was the hardest he ever remembered being hit and I responded, me too.  There is a CW song where the singer talks about getting in the game and that he is still proud of that hit.  Fifty years later, I still know what he means.

Love being a fan but the best feelings in sports were celebrating or commiserating with the kids.

Ya ever find anybody in real life you was going to argue flat earth?

I was reading down trying to see if someone was going to compare "government lies in 1969" to "so many pictures of the flat earth have been covered up"

No one argues in favor of flat earth.  The argument is propped up by people whose only purpose is to compare flat earth with something that actually probably true.

The government spends a lot of money to lie to us.

You don't know about the secret bases our govt has on the moon? And the trillions of dollars that conveniently go missing from the defense budget from time to time to fund the program?

We own the moon.

Skull Fing a rival is one of my favorite non championship feelings. The Dallas 44-6 game was one of the happiest sports viewing experiences I've ever had. Beating a rival in general is always more fun to me but really putting their D in the dirt is so fun to watch
