I find it statistically fascinating that Painter pitched all of high school and a couple of years in the minors while healthy. And then he throws one freaking inning in a Phillies uniform and suffers a devastating injury.

This is why I hate pitching prospects.  You just never know how it's gonna go, and it seems increasingly likely that most if not all young pitching prospects will need TJ surgery at some point.  

We need to stop allowing weirdos to design new uniforms. Almost all throwbacks are better. Cleaner, simpler, not trying too hard, better color schemes.

When you see uniforms like that, you know precisely who's designing the new uniforms. Some Gen Z dork right out of college. Of course the uniform can't say "Falcons" or "Atlanta"

It's gotta say "ATL" because abbreviating stuff is what totally cool and hip people do!

I’m worried alavardo is gonna need it. He’s had two elbow injuries in the span of a months time. He needed a shot to get the swelling to subside in his elbow. There’s a chance he may need to get it. Matt gelb kind of alluded to it on 975 a couple weeks back

Agreed. If you look at college uniforms, a lot of schools are going back to the basics and it's very refreshing. Every throwback that the NFL has released this summer has been getting RAVE reviews. Maybe the NFL will catch on and realize that the majority of fans want their classic uniforms. Not these stupid new age uniforms that Nike keeps designing. 

But now the Colts are going to do something stupid. This feels like an unnecessary black uniform.
