Curious on your take of McPhearson on PRs.  (Saw your comment in the STs blog). Sure seems to me that if McPhearson is playable with Quez as an emergency game back up, if a Cain, Cleveland or Ngata are better at WR5 than Covey, that’s a better way to go.  Can risk Ward and Covey on cutdowns to PS and sign one or both to the PS in case McPhearson has to play CB or gets injured.

No. Covey is the best punt returner on the team. You play him. And if you try to get cute by trying to waive him, you're likely to lose him. Yes, I'm saying that some team would claim him.

I'm also curious about your comment regarding Quez. Quez should only be viewed as a backup as KR. He's not even a consideration as a punt returner. Also, don't forget that the number two punt returner is DeVonta. McPhearson could be the next option. I don't want Ward on the team. He can stand out on offense when he's playing with scrubs against scrubs but otherwise, he's very JAGGY.

I feel like there’s been way more fights in the joint practices this year as compared to previous years. Craziest amount of fights in 30 years.

Only plausible conclusion is that it's because of those goofy white helmet accessories that players are being forced to wear.

Got a good storm coming our way in Baja California Sur.  Glad I already had plans to leave.  Putting the boats on the trailers and protection on the windows today.  Hoping for the best

Stay safe, man. Hope that the damage is minimal. Rode out Wilma in 2005 when I lived in Deerfield Beach, FL. Sweating it out for hours in the eyewall was a humbling experience.

He was doing his best riverboat brawl impression

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I think the 49ers could faceplant this year. No QB, 2 stud skill position players are super injury prone. Their best player is 35. Lost their DC. Depleted draft. Hargrave could be 2022 Hargrave or early 2020 Hargrave, and he ain't getting younger.

I’m there with you … and it is there in the SF media as well.  Very nervous group.

DGunn saying Nakobe Dean is going to play some series tonight.

There is a huge difference between addiction and narcissism.  Drugs first and foremost harm the addict.  Narcissism harms all those around you.  TO was an arch narcissist, and the victims were his team and teammates.

Regarding Rice, see just relax’s comment above.

Is this post parody? Drug use can most definitely harm those around you lmao.

I think QB is gonna be a huge issue. Purdy's play, to an extent, saved their season. I don't think he's that good.

Thought I saw in the notes of some of the Beats earlier this year that Quez was taking some reps at PR in practice.  Not looking to get cute, just that none of the PRs have shown a tendency to get more than about seven yards, so primarily the PR main duty is to catch the ball cleanly at this point in time.  So wanting value at the #5 WR might actually be worth more than a third tier returner.

Will be interesting to see who lines up next to him. My guess is Morrow. I wonder if Reed will play as well, since that would help define the second safety spot.

Bears sign another former Eagle LB.

Campbell suddenly realized the catalyst to the entire Jaguars offense

That’s Fing hasty. He’s the jaguars mvp. I can see why they’d get upset.

Cool then maybe the hype video should be of that rather than a practice catch against air.

It was a report from training camp…

I think Seattle is going to win that division, and I'm not sure SF makes the playoffs. Beyond the garbage at QB, their offensive line is 4 scrubs and a hall of fame LT. And Shanahan likes to get QBs killed. Losing McGlinchey at RT I think will wreck them.

Yup.

I'm just saying whoever posted it needs to slow their roll, as catching fades in practice against air doesn't mean much

I like Washington I think he'll be a good player but I'm not going to base my opinion of him off same random practice video.

He starts making catches like that in Actual games get back to me...

@FranklinFldEBUpper  Kempski (I read the practice notes even of Kempski and Gowton) has posted the Monday hang times of the Ps plus distance.

Siposs hangtimes:

  1. 4.35
  2. 4.66 (punt was especially short)
  3. 4.38 (bad, high snap from Rick Lovato that Siposs was able to snare and get a rugby style punt off)
  4. 4.51

Zentner hangtimes:

  1. 4.18
  2. 3.80 (this punt was especially short in addition to bad hangtime) 🤢
  3. 4.56

Zentner’s are horrible.  Three weeks until cut down.  Howie really should be switching out that P spot now.

Don't worry, Matt Pryor will save them.

Their Oline is putrid. I don't care which of those QB scrubs they throw back there, they're gonna get David Carr'ed.
