I'm ready for the news cycle of purdy being bad, and then everyone blaming the injury.

There was a reason he was Mr. Irrelevant.  And while he may not be Irrelevant now, he's still got the same reason for having been the last pick, but has the built in excuse of the injury.  He wasn't 'good' last year, but the 49ers won.  So, people gave him too much credit as is so often the case with QBs.

I think he can. He had his acl injury early enough. Schwarber came back and was DH for the cubs in their WS. He could’ve played sooner than that but they kept him out cause they wanted to give him an extra week and a half and he tore his on april 8th. Hoskins tore his in March 23rd. I think you’d see harper at first and schwarber in OF and defensive replacement late in games with marsh or Rojas. Schwarber when he came back for that WS hit .412/.500/.471/.971

Well... we can hope I guess.  For me, that's a bonus.

The Giants will probably regress if I had to bet on it.  Our division should be tougher overall, so I expect us to lose a few more games than last season too. Hopefully we can still manage a high seed, or the 1, but I'll be happy with NFC east champs and whatever seed that brings.

I think they end the year ahead of the Cowboys in the division.  I hate that I respect their coach, but I do.  DJ will perhaps never be a top 5-8 QB, but Daboll will get the very most out of him.  There has been positive culture changes in NY and another that could be beginning in Washington.

I think Dallas missed their window.  If I'm Jerry Jones, I trade Parsons for a king's ransom after the season and start over at QB.  Use the fuel to get in the Williams sweepstakes.    He won't - but I would.  I hope they get to 9 or 10 wins this year so he won't feel that desperate.  I think they are an 8 win team this year at best.  Giants win 10 or 11.  We'll see

Uh oh...

Harper hurt after that hit.

I do think it's quite possible that Dallas gives up the draft capital for Jonathan Taylor.

McCarthy has said he wants to run the ball more, I'm not sure Pollard can sustain a heavy workload, and Jerry is not adverse to paying money to RBs.  He paid a first round pick for Amari Cooper because he knew Dak was floundering without help.

They need him more than we do...

I’d love to get an update on him. Last time we got one was beginning of July and topper said he was much further ahead then where they thought he should be.

Net average is three yards worse. Six less inside the 20 with only two less punts. Two more touchbacks on two less punts.

I think you need work on reading this chart and I question your conclusions.

Its career vs one year. Its a basic concept.

Its also not an entire chart. its page 2 of a chart where only about the 10 worst punters in the entire league are listed (and Jake Elliot)

I question your reading comprehension since three other people have pointed out that Siposs was better last year and I agreed to that reality.

Siposs at punter is the worst position on the entire team. He was a major factor in the SB loss. We should upgrade. If not this guy then someone else.

Not sure its smart for him to stay in this game.  We don't need this game that badly, having already taken the first 2.

He shared last night during the broadcast that he was allowed to run full speed for the first time either yesterday or the day before.  But, its all been straight line, IIRC.

Been dealing with a back injury too. With an off day tomorrow I’m surprised they didn’t pull him and just give him the rest of today and tomorrow off.

You want to replace Siposs with a guy that's trending down.  Siposs hasn't been good, this guy was worse and lost his job in TC this year.  Where's the upgrade?

Makes me a little less optimistic cause it think they said last update in July he was close to running and he just started straight line

I think the NFCE will play out as:

Eagles -- 12-5

Turds -- 10-7

Giants -- 8-9

Commanders -- 7-10

Every year I predict Washington will finish ahead of the Giants; should have happened last season, except Heinicke.  Hard to know what they're going to get out of Howell, though.  I think it will be the last year for Rivera and Del Rio there.

I'd reverse the Giants and Cowboys.  We go 11-6 or 12-5...brutal schedule and will likely be less fortunate w/ injuries (hope to be wrong)

LOL people were saying he'd make the roster earlier today

I wasn't for the trade initially, but after really thinking about Penny and Swift, I hope Howie pulls the trigger. Plus, isn't the knock on Swift and Penny are that they're both often sidelined? Do we really wanna risk it all on Gainwell?

Well,  you can't just assume that Penny and Swift are out.

I believe he doesn't go through waivers, so could be one of those *wink wink* let's release him, sign someone else for the game and then re-sign him Friday, type deals.

Unless he was hurt why would they do that?

Agreed … and BTW the Braves pitching is certainly improved lately.
