A friend of mine is a big archery hunter (big too) and took down an elk with a  heart shot.  Pretty amazing shot.  Once got the police called on him because he was standing on his roof taking practice shots at a target in the backyard and clearly the caller had no idea what he was shooting at or that he was using practice arrows.  I would love to have seen the body cam on that.  No charges, just a be careful verbal warning between the laughs.  Good luck to your wife on her hunt.

My question is -- what are you getting for Murray this offseason? The good news is that he only has 1 year of guarantees left in 2024, so the contract isn't onerous. But I can't see anyone giving up a 1st for a guy who's shown very little, and is a mobile QB coming off an injury. Maybe you get a 3rd?

Idk there’s always a dumb team desperate for a Qb that believes they can make him better. So it’s tough to say someone wouldn’t overpay. I wouldn’t cause since he as drafted i wasn’t as high on him. I also don’t think he’s a winning type of player and doesn’t have great leadership qualities

that said if they are the worst team and get Caleb Williams that is massive for that franchise. I wouldn’t be shocked if that happens Gannon gets canned after a year. The Texans pick is curious. If the Texans wind up being really bad again, the cardinals could somehow wind up with Williams and Harrison jr. That said i dont think the Texans are bad enough for the cardinals to get Harrison jr.

They had to put a clause about watching film in his contract...and now he's a mobile QB coming off an injury. You'd have to give me a 3rd to take him and pay him almost $40mm in 2024. 

I just can't think of which GM is that dumb. I hope Jerry dumps Dak and trades a 1st for Kyler.

Eagles got a 1st and 2nd for Wentz AFTER 2020 and with no real bargaining power. Some dumb team would give up a 1st for Murray.

Bad franchises with irrational thinking will believe they can. I agree with your logic, but then again I’ve seen bad organizations make really questionable decisions that blowup in their face.

i mentioned above for the cardinals getting Williams i think means more than what they get from murray. Chance of the Texans are just really bad again they wind up with Williams and Harrison jr in the same draft. That said don’t see the Texans being that bad for the cardinals to get Harrison jr and Williams.

Per the WaPo story, he's still got pretty bad nerve damage.  He has problems opening doors, picking up his kids, or basically doing anything with his right hand.  He gave up his body for baseball.
