I don’t see them trading for a S. If they do it would be just a one year deal so I don’t know if it would be a big name guy like Winfield or Chinn. It would have to be like CJGJ, a lower round pick or mid round pick swap.

Or a young CB for a young S move. Someone like Ricks.

I think there’s a better chance they do it at the trade deadline if things don’t work out with wallace and edmunds and if brown hasn’t progressed like they liked tbh. If they were gonna make a trade now i think it’s either a team that knows they are going to be bad and in a rebuild (only one believing that is cardinals and baker is too expensive capital wise) or a team that had a regime change and the player doesn’t fit their system anymore and willing to deal.

Maybe, but I still think it would be more a rental type trade. I don’t think they would want to block the development of Brown so soon.

I do. Once again preseason catches mean nothing. Paul Turner had a lot of preseason catches.

Well,  Tyree had better combine numbers than Calcaterra.  Every single number was better.  People base things on that.

It's not exclusively things like highest yards per target.  People will mention preseason games that teams don't want to play,  because that's what people have to look at.

Tyree kinda screwed himself when he threw too hard at the combine.  "Don't mess with a man's money"

Winfield and chinn make sense at the deadline in that scenario. They both are FA at the end of the year and don’t block brown long term as they can leave and the eagles get a comp pick if they sign elsewhere. You’d just have to hope Carolina and Bucs completely fell off in the nfc south by that point

Welp Tyree Jackson already waived. So much for that.

Good.

Right or wrong the Eagles seem to love Reed Blankenship and Brown should be starting at some point this season. Trading for a S makes little sense as a result. I personally think LB and WR depth is a greater concern.

Also, Tyree Jackson is a myth. Why do so many Eagles fans think he is something he is not.

How do I access that? I have Sunday Ticket.

Should say something when you open the YouTube TV app.

Eagles not going to block Sydney Brown. Blankenship/Brown is the future barring disaster

I got nothing.

Bad news Sydney jones is with the bengals

I can see them trading for a safety but I think it’ll be more of a depth piece than a starter, because it wouldn’t make sense to use draft capital when they very clearly want Brown to start at some point this season, that’s pretty obvious. At worst, start next season, but to do that he’ll need some seasoning this season and he won’t get that if they trade for a surefire starter. But I could see them trading for a depth guy who gives them what they were hoping Edmunds gave them if they’re disappointed by him and Evans.

Haha man i don't know why I always do that with him

If it’s available on the youtube TV home tab you should see "watch 4 games at once” somewhere on there. If not, maybe it’s not currently available, but I saw people on social media saying it was available on theirs.

I figure they’ll save their trades/last roster spots for a LB or WR/TE depth over DBs. We’re pretty deep at DB right now. Maybe OG if Jurgens isn’t panning out there.

But will It win you a title? All evidence say no. And thats really all that matters

Wayyy too small of a sample size, as you know. We basically have Brady and Mahomes dominating recent playoffs with a couple random guys thrown in.

Again, I would suggest we look at the trends. All QBs are getting more athletic. It’s to the point where Mahomes isn’t really considered a running QB. He’s inventive, creative, with arguably the greatest arm the sport has ever seen, but as far as running ability he’s mid tier.

Must not be available. I watched a YouTube tutorial and there wasn’t an option for multi view on any of the games I selected or any of the paths they suggested.

I still think if the eagles are gonna make a move at safety it’ll be closer to the trade deadline. Gives you 8 weeks to see if Sydney brown has progressed enough and developing into a starter for this year. If he hasn’t progressed as much as they liked i don’t see them running him out as the starter against the toughest part of their schedule of vs. Dallas, at kc, vs. Buffalo, vs. sf, at Dallas, at seattle and vs. giants. Also it gives you 8 weeks of seeing what edmunds, Evans and Wallace are as well. If they aren’t good enough and brown isn’t progressing then I think the eagles would be more likely to make a move there as they are competing for a SB this year and it would be a weakness after 8 weeks of the year. If one of those 3 or brown progresses then they aren’t gonna make the move.

unless they get a player they really like at an excellent value that’s about the only way i think they make a trade at safety before week 1

@Sack that QB

Actually, I got the multi view to pop up when I selected the Notre Dame game. It let me pair it with the Mercer game. Must not be available for the NFL games today.

It should be available during the NFL season they advertised it as available I’m not sure if it’ll be exclusive to Sunday ticket though because they did it for NBA games and other stuff without paying extra.

Colts backup RG (starter) hurt in the Eagles game.

RR?

I didn't see the article that someone was talking about.

Tyree has a 9.83 ras as a TE.  But combine numbers and "tools" aren't the same thing.

When you're a QB through high school, college and the pros,  TE tools like running routes and blocking might have to be learned from scratch.  Terrelle Pryor was able to become a 1000 yard receiver  the year after switching to WR.  It seemed reasonable that a top ras QB like Tyree could do something similar.  I'm always in favor of top ras running QBs either at QB or another position.

Who can we trade them? Opeta?

Smart to leak it early so playoff teams know he’s available to trade. Would hate to miss out on him because of a low waiver priority.

49ers might be looking for a QB3.
