Do you know what detracts from the blog more than anything? People ****ing and fighting. We have spent more time talking about this topic because people are ****ing than if they just let it go, so if people are really concerned they would shut up and move the hell on instead of being babies. It only comes up in passing when a game is on. It's been happening since the WS last year. Let it go.

I was just about to post the same thing.

I have zero interest in talking about the Phillies so I don't, but I have even less interest in reading about people fighting over what's off topic and what's not.

I come here to talk about eagles if there is discussion about the sixers or civil war or something else I don't care about I scroll down, when I scroll through two pages of bickering about what's off topic and reporting off topic stuff that's more annoying than the off topic stuff I don't care about 

Having said that with the most recent cuts I'm curious who the eagles PR is going to be, not really concerned with KR as with the new rules it's obsolete ☹️

Maybe Howie has his eyes on a guy they think will get cut, maybe they're hoping covey makes it past waivers and they can re sign him after the dust settles and roster is more set.

As of now though they don't really have a PR which is a problem.

Either he's not healthy enough to play and there's no point in keeping him only to not be able to use him or they want to see if there's another player that may be an upgrade.

I think Howie knows how to read the room, he releases early the guys he knows have no market, and either won't be claimed or won't be missed.

The guys he might be able to trade for late round picks or are good bets to be claimed on waivers he'll hold onto as long as possible.

Then come Tuesday night and Wednesday, he builds the final roster.

Isn’t a motto of the team, people don’t like us and we don’t care.  See a post about something you don’t care about, scroll on down.  Just to be clear, showing porn on your phone at a bar?  Never done that or seen that.  Don’t talk politics at a sports bar either, or religion for that matter, other than an occasional joke, more likely to share a meme.  Been to a couple of sports bars in Wichita with the BIL and haven’t seen that there so the places I go in Wichita are far different than yours.

I have read certain teams will release guys that they know have a chance at getting a job somewhere else as a curtesy

I've never been to a real bar, or watched a game at a bar, not my scene, I like yelling at my TV in solitude😁
