Yup.  Bring Wilson back... the interesting thing will be how they will build the playoff roster.   Maybe keep Covey off the roster, and keep an extra position player.

I think lorenzen is destined to be their long guy in the postseason with walker or sanchez as the 4th starter in nlds and nlcs. think Phillies are gonna go a rotation of wheeler, nola, Suarez and walker/Sanchez. Covey likely left off

Hard to do that with the way he's pitched recently... not counting his last start.  But, yes... he makes sense as the long guy.

He was not even the worst TE in Jax training camp over the last 3 years...  👀

Uh oh...

Realmuto doubled in the previous at bat, and now went opposite field for a single with RISP.   The final piece to the puzzle heating up?!

Stott with a second deck homer.   Start the party!

Based off what lauber and stark we’re saying they think his last 2 starts (and now including tonight) he’s closer to that then his first two. Both said it’s definitively gonna be wheeler, Suarez and nola. The 4th spot mix and match with matchups throughout that game likely lorenzen in relief cause he’s done it before and more used to it. Frankly Sanchez has been really reliable so far this year but he’s about to pitch the most innings he’s ever pitched in any league (70 now and by years end he’ll exceed the 75). Another issue is lorenzen is already over his IP high by 25 and we got a month left. Walker is gonna be close to his.

What did he say?  I’m watching "Last Vegas” with friends.  Following the game on ESPN.

Seriously if he gets hitting with RISP look out. His biggest issue in august is RISP and really all year. With no Risp he’s hitting close to .300 in august. Before that at bat with Risp in august he was below .200

He literally said that the Phillies hit for the cycle in the inning right after I posted that they had.

Was a big fan of his at Auburn. Not sure how he did with the Saints but would be happy to see him on the PS.

If they push out this lead for the WC... they might be able to use some minor league pitchers to eat some innings down the stretch.  Keep the same rotation, but limit their pitch count... or go to a 7 man rotation... and give them all extra days between starts.

These Angels look like a team that quit today for tax reasons by waving 5 guys.

Talk about the Patriots luck if he becomes what many thought he would before this past year. Was a legit top WR.

issue with their minor leagues is that they don’t have any guys MLB ready. Not that it matters if you can pull away the games won’t really matter. One nice thing about falter even though he was a 5th starter was he ate innings and could spot start for a game or two. I have a feeling when Suarez returns Sunday there’s a chance after his start if he feels good that walker goes on IL to get him some rest

I’d take Hunter renfroe but he’s not falling to us in waivers

Yeah, they don't have to be 'major league ready'... maybe even throw a minor league bullpen game in there.

Turner, Harper, and Stott are playing at MVP level right now.   It is fun!

i hope harper hits 300 tomorrow so he does it at home

We have the most young CB depth we’ve had since the days of Lito/Sheldon. Besides…a CB named Smoke? That’s as bad as Toast.

He's still got a chance tonight.

Chance turner winds up hitting .270ish and has 25 homers. Which for how off and frankly bad he was the first couple months is pretty crazy.

Pretty sure the mlb record is 58
