Not tremendously shocked they are bringing back Siposs on PS to cover their butt. And to have some leverage if they are looking at other punters. Gives roster flexibility to keep the young cornerbacks and DL on 53. I would be surprised if they don't bring in Mann, minimally. Siposs will be on a short leash here at best. I'm sure with the pressure on the line for his job again, he would choke anyway if given a chance. He does work cheap, so he's got that going. It was mentioned here several times that Howie would do what he did last year on PS with Covey and Kern. Mann still has to clear 24 hour waivers so will know by tomorrow. Unfinished story here, for sure. Howie at work, no doubt.

I'm a little confused about this because the way the rule reads, you can do it indefintely, just after 3 games they have to clear waivers every time they go back to the PS. But I don't think I've seen any team try that yet.
