.10 faster, better route running, surer hands. And Jackson really didn’t show as a better blocker.  Similar injury history.

I guess I should rephrase… I don’t understand not keeping Jackson when we are going with 4 TEs.

Goedert is obviously the starter and a great in-line TE as well as a lethal receiving option.

Albert O and Jackson are both sort of WR tweeners. So for me I would keep both, because they are the second and third most explosive pass catchers we have at the position. Then the 4th guy could be the best blocker/special teamer.

The Eagles didn't want Jackson over Stoll or Calcaterra, and the Eagles clearly wanted Albert O, being willing to cut the waiver line and make the trade.  Let's put it this way, some folks around here were way more into Jackson than the Eagles seemed to be.

I really don't get the obsession with Jackson.  Howie knows the market and traded for Albert O. because he didn't think he'd last in waivers until 31.  No one claimed Jackson and he's on the Giants PS now. Jackson only seems to have value here

O seems very similar to T but more game experience, worth a thorough look see. They should know Jackson inside and out and if this doesn’t work out can always claim Jackson off the Giants PS … if they feel the need

A Nebbiolo during a trip to Italy 15 or so years ago was responsible for the most memorable night of love making in my life.  Every time someone says Nebbiolo I smile.

You probably ruined the tertiary tasting notes when you mixed your Nebbiolo with sildenafil and hers with rohypnol.  Pair it with a light red sauce next time.  😛

Tyree Jackson is the Greg Ward of tight ends. Nice story. Switched from the QB position to a new position pretty admirably. But will most likely cap out as a fringe player and bouncing around from practice squad to  team for a handful of NFL games in a given season. I will say, I'm rooting for him, but really don't feel like we're missing out on anything here.

Injured too often, otherwise probably significantly more developed and on the roster. When will he be IR’ed next is looming

Watching highlights of Albert O, he is clearly a much smoother route runner and pass catcher than Jackson.

Like night and day.

I’m pretty excited about the possibilities w/ Albert out there with Brown, Smith, Goedert, and Swift.  With Hurts himself being a dual threat, that’s a nightmare scenario for defenses

I’m assuming he also runs the right direction after each catch

I see no issue breaking the blog up for different phases of the season - if it makes game day more smoother with the other boards on Invision getting heavy traffic, all for it.  The crossover from new to old can be a bit odd to keep track of, but see no reason for that to be a blocker

Oh my God they cut a Tight End who couldn't beat out Jack Stoll and Grant Calcaterra in open competition?  What's Howie thinking?  He looked great with his 2 big catches against other teams camp bodies in those games no team gives much of a hoot about

I see he was instantly snapped up by <checks notes> the Gina's practise squad.

I think he could be the next Cornelius Ingram, I rate him that highly.

Game day is always smooth

There's literally no reason to be doing this.

Oh... one team gives a hoot.  One team gives a major hoot.

Maybe we should call them the Baltimore Owls from now on!

So, what you are saying is that its an acquired taste and you slowly build your way up to it.
