If he suffered a concussion during the game why was he allowed to stay in the game ???

Can't say we want to ban a play to protect players then keep those same players in the game when they are concussed, one either does or doesn't care about player safety, cNt have it both ways...

Also they’ve already banned spearing with the helmet, which is what happened here.

I'm so tired of all the talk about the stupid tush push. It's such a stupid argument and whatever ends up happening probably doesn't even change anything in a meaningful way.

They were gonna ban it anyway but it'll be interesting to see the language they have to use because then it has to be called when a RB is pushed. And can a D player push the back of another D player during a tackle?

Yes, but the problem is if you do that, their linebackers are completely taken out of the play and they’re basically begging you to throw a quick slant or screen

This is what the league is looking for as an excuse to ban the play.

BTW>.. that's just a QB sneak, not a 'tush push'.   That's the play the Packers used in the Ice Bowl, just horribly executed.  Nothing 'brotherly shove' about that.

So, are they talking about banning the Qb sneak?  They can't.  It is impossible.  Might as well just ban tackling entirely and just turn it into a flag football league.  You would basically need to ban the QB lining up under center.  There's no way to ban it without dramatically rewriting the rule book... and by extension, fundamentally changing the nature of the game.

Was it a called penalty on the field???

That’s not a push play though. They can’t use that as evidence to ban the brotherly shove, unless they want to ban all inside QB runs

Am I the only one that didn't know Dwight Howard was gay until right now?... not that there's anything wrong with that

49ers have a tough schedule too.  They will be sitting on 3 losses after this weekend.  They are no longer in the race.

They have the 4th easiest strength of schedule in the league.

Ummm...nope. Something I learned just now from your post.

Turns out a twink running behind a weak interior offensive line can't pull off a good QB sneak. Who could have seen that coming?

He has multiple kids with multiple women so that's weird

You read the story that just came out? Sounds like he would enjoy a weekend with @hputenis and @Godfather

I thought the same

If I'm the Eagles, I'm offering one of Slay or Bradberry plus their 1st and change. With Byard here now, they have 3 players over the age of 30 in the defensive backfield. Getting better and younger by nearly a decade would be huge. He's a young 23 and will be turning 24 right around the draft.

I've said it a lot but Howie's track record drafting CB is pretty bad. Same with his usage of late round 1sts.

I mean this also has 2 kids with a woman so anything goes these days.

People only started caring when it was given a name. If people would have just kept calling it a damn QB sneak we wouldn't be hearing about it as much.  maybe.

Not sure Howie disrupts what they got and I'm not sure broncos would want to take on older players with a bit of money left on their contracts.

We'll see though.

"Eagles nation! Let's Fly"

Are the Denver Broncos already laying framework for Russell Wilson's departure?

I agree.  And the Eagles will be just as successful without the tush pushers as they are with them.  The NFL can’t realistically outlaw all QB Sneaks.

That's tough. We kind of need the depth. Wouldn't give up Slay the team captain that's weird.

I see zero reason for the Broncos to trade Surtain.  Seems like this account likes to throw crap against the wall and see what sticks regularly.

Seems even the Titans don't trust Edmunds.

I think that account was recently caught with a lie too. Don't remember what it was about though. IIRC it was the one that made a report and then deleted it when it was false

Tough remaining games for the 49ers:

Bengals

@Jaguars

@Seahawks

@Eagles

Seahawks

Ravens

Rams

Compared to a team like the Lions that is a tough remaining schedule.  I don't consider the 49ers a threat for the #1 seed if they lose to the Bengals on Sunday.

So the Castallanos trade talks, the guy had 29 HR, 106 RBIs for the Phils this year with a .271. That's NOT insignificant production, who are you replacing that with if he's moved?

I didn't watch the regular season games, so I ask this with all sincerity.  Does Casty always look so bad at the plate?  I mean the mechanics, the swings, the half assery of it all.  I mean holy amazeballs, he looks like ish.  How in the hell did he hit anything ever?

This was a red flag.
