Washington trading BOTH Young and Sweat is dumb. Pick one of them (now it's Young) and pay him. Getting a 2nd for Sweat made sense, but don't do it twice. You need players.

Yeah, that team is run like total crap.

New ownership in DC.  Turning the page and starting over.

No idea what the Bears are doing, that will be a high pick.

To me this is a great move by Chicago. No, he won’t help them do anything this year, but he’s a valuable asset at the top tier position.

If you have the cap space, acquiring guaranteed talent is superior to gambling on a pick that might one day be Montez Sweat if you’re lucky.

They don’t do this trade without having a discussion with his agent that he is open to an extension in Chicago, as with what happened immediately after Philadelphia traded for AJ, Baltimore traded for Roquan, or Chicago traded for Khalil Mack

I would much rather have Montez Sweat than a second round pick (if I could afford him and I had a hole at DE of course)

Won’t miss seeing Montez sweat twice a year

Eagles haven’t made any moves since yesterday. Really annoying

Yeah sure if you are a contender, Bears are not.

Sweat is 27 and has never produced double digit sacks with that defensive line around him.

Yeah they should probably just forfeit the rest of the season

Thank you Captain Obvious

You’re most welcome

And that’s why he didn’t cost a 1. Every team needs talent, noncontenders even moreso. If this trade happened in April, no one would bat an eye at it. Bears are basically prepping for the offseason by now anyway

Yep this si smart. Josh Harris is a great owner and he's doing it right down there.  Tear it down, collect assets and bring in his own select hires this offseason.

Its a Top 5 pick in the 2nd round, just peanuts I guess

Lets trade for a guy when our Top CB wants out, makes sense

If he runs his own tight ship like Jerry Jones, I'm here for it. Myopia for the win.

A great owner? He traded away Thybulle for nothing to save a few million under the luxury tax

Honestly, I think GMs are tired of hearing Howie took them for a ride. I'd bet a few prefer not to make a deal with him unless he overpays, so I'm not expecting much today.

He wasn't seeing the court hardly at all.

Yeah, greatness is defined by owners who's teams can't get out of the second round. They are the Dallas Cowboys of the NBA.

Thybulle was not good.

I mean you're more likely to need an emotional support pet at a Flyers game.

A shame Jefferson got hurt... him an Tyreek are the only thing standing between AJ and total supremacy

Yep, he's not missed even with his defensive nous. RoCo more serviceable on a starting line however.

You missed the point and not surprised.
