I've been consistent with my belief that Eagles and Chiefs will meet in 3 straight Super Bowls.  Eagles winning the next 2 and Hurts establishing himself as the undisputed best QB in the league after winning the next two Super Bowls.

Hope you're right about that.

The Eagles value Quez and his role on the team. Despite what some fans want to believe Zaccheaus hasn't done anything to make them forget Quez. They won't leave Watkins on IR once he is healthy. They have clearly been using Jones in practice as a red zone threat, so the way I see it, Oz is the odd man out (deactive on game day) if all 3 are healthy.

I don't believe the Eagles are married to keeping Roby or J. Scott on the 53 if they need to make space. Byard has versatility and S. Brown is getting more and more experience along with Eli Ricks. Roby's season PFF grade is 49.0. J. Scott's is 60.0. Zaccheaus' is 49.6.

What's Quez's role? They aren't going to roll with 6 WRs on the roster. I think there's far too much stock being put into the 3rd WR position. Right now, at best, that's the 5th target in the passing game with AJ, Smith, Goedert, and Swift all ahead there.

Roby has played in 2 games, one of which was 4 days after being signed. Lets pump the breaks on throwing around PFF grades.

What the heck is there to be excited about?

A lot more ball movement under Nick Nurse.  Maxey looks great.  And they are sitting on a chest of assets now to make a deal along with a ton of expiring contracts.  They have a chance to really put a team together next season.  In the time being though it's fun to watch Maxey taking that All Star step and this team doing so under a new HC.  Plus you know the reigning MVP in his prime.

Brooks was 330Lbs+ in his prime and could move.

I still maintain we beat the Saints if he doesn't tear his achilles. We just couldn't run the ball after that.

I won't argue that, all I'm saying is.. he wasn't what he became when he entered the league, and he wasn't even that guy when he first got here.

Quez stretches the field.thats his role, he's the fastest WR on the team.

Now whether they value that over say a nickel or dime corner is to be seen, so we'll see.

And yet you had to say that, rather than just scrolling past.  🤔

The 2-1 Sixers up 58-49 at halftime.

Embiid 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists in 17 minutes.  He doesn't have any blocks but he's absolutely impacted numerous Raptors misses.

Which would be great and all if he could actually catch the ball or win contested catches, he has failed to do that far too often (and it cost them dearly in the Super Bowl).  Speed doesn't do dick for you if you have bad hands.  Quez is basically a speedy Nelson Agholor.

Edmunds getting abused already

Andre Dillard getting all these snaps is beautiful.

Parks should probably watch the Nuggets play at some point in his life. Every time he tweets it becomes more obvious he was on the chess team. Good Lord what a dope.

I hate feeling super old watching the NFL but it’s happening. Asante Samuel’s son, Joey Porter’s son, and my son with @EaglePhan1986’s mom all performing well this season.

Oubre looking like the best FA signing since JJ Reddick.

Sirianni has already explained Quez' role. But I agree when it comes to the 3rd WR position. It's not something Sirianni has tried to get involved in this offense. All the WRs need to block and for the most part everybody has done a pretty good job including Zaccheaus and Watkins. I haven't really watched Jones or Covey enough to see how they're doing yet. Jones adds a big, sure-handed target in the red zone, but Quez adds legit field-stretching speed that opens things up --- especially for Smith and Goedert (who have had less impact during the absence of Quez). Oz has a typical slot WR skill set, but we don't really use that in our offense.

As for keeping 6 WRs. Sure, we didn't start with 6, but as the season progresses and the coaches get more confidence in players such as Brown and Ricks, it may make more room to keep a 6th WR if need be --- especially if we can get any released players back on the PS.

PFF grades aren't the tell-all, but they are worth noting. People are acting like Roby was terrific. He was adequate. So was Scott. So is Ricks right now and Sydney Brown too. Brown and Ricks are pretty safe. Roby and Scott are expendable. I even like Scott more than most around here, but it would probably be a safe bet we could get him back on the PS if we waive him. With Roby, it would be up to him as he isn't subject to waivers. He could agree to sign on to our PS if we release him. Finally, If Quez is healthy and they like what Jones can add in certain situations, keeping Zaccheaus isn't that critical as he's about as special as Greg Ward.

Embiid is something special in November.  He should have been a baseball player.

What’s wrong with being on the chess team? I was in high school, and I’ve played on many, many teams since then.

After the trading deadline, every player is subjected to waivers if they are released. We have this discussion every single year.
