Agree. It's funny with Smith, Brown, and DG that they still need another target, but they do. OZ and QW can't be relied on. Danny Amendola always seems to find a way to get open to move the chains. They don't have that guy who just gets open like that (after Brown and Smith).

I’d say Hunter renfrow but he’s not a sped guy. good slot receiver but he’s also got a sizable pricetag. Plus i think the compliment smith and brown need is a reliable speed receiver. Not sure there’s gonna be one available though.

For $10 bet the payout is $750. That’s worth the shot. I doubt he wins

garrett at +380 feels and third feels like he should be higher after 3 weeks.

There’s a good pun in there

Love Jalen Carter, but DPOY is going to be Parsons or Garrett. They play so many more snaps.

He just wanted to have the #1 streaming video on the webz.

Exactly.  He needs to be carefully monitored and used accordingly.  I see him very much in the BWest 2002-2004 mold.  He can be truly dynamic, but we need to be careful not to overuse him and lose him for the post-season.

Again he's doing unbelievable but let's really do this running back by committee thing right.  Swift most of the carries but Kenny and Boston must stay in the rotation.  We shouldn't put it all on Swift.

Or Watt

Individual matchup of week 4 might be Mike Evans vs. Lattimore

DROTY is the race to watch with Carter.

Her posts are kind of funny.

@Sack that QB It is weird that the Siri / Hurts offense was very low on the RB screen. I'm not sure if its a Siri thing, a Hurts thing, or a RB personnel thing from 2020-2022

I'd love to see more of it as teams try to mush rush Hurts.

Is there a site that tracks how many screen plays go to RBs?

The Eagles ran one yesterday and it feels like the first real screen they've ran to a RB in ages. The majority seem to be bubble screens to WRs.

The screen game should be added more to this arsenal. Especially someone like Swift who's great in space.

It's an absolute necessity if you want Hurts to stay in the pocket, combined with play action, it keeps a defense guessing and half a step slower.

But it takes time to get the timing down, for Hurts to learn how to look downfield and not give it away, and the RB to slip out without being noticed.

With the mobility of this OL, especially the right side, RB screens should be potential big plays.

It's how AR won 12 games a year with Thrash and Pinkston at WR.

Mike Mayock on Jalen Carter via Rich Eisen Show:

"He's the best young Defensive Tackle I have seen in a long time."

Your whole problem is that "I see ..." is as far as you can see.  You never take the time to read and digest what anyone else has said.  @Iggles_Phan made two factual statements, which you either never understood or completely ignored, and immediately went into "I see ..." mode.  Your concept of a conversation is "Me, me, Me"  It has the emotional maturity of a 5-year old.

You quoted a post where I was literally asking you what the factual observations were beyond the ones I was seeing.  What factual observations did he make?  You have the reading comprehension of a 5 year old as this post goes to show as well as your one last night.

How did opeta look? He was in on that last drive

Very ordinary. Hurts got the ball out fast for the most part so he held up reasonably well in pass pro. His run blocking was mediocre. Big drop off from Dickerson.

@BigEFly Thanks for sharing, She is funny.

Tom Grossi does a bunch of similar stuff on YouTube. He is great.

A screen is the worst play to call against a mush rush.

I was surprised that Allen got no Offensive snaps.

They could try Covey for that.   So often,  the slot guy is the short guy,  the more quick than fast guy, the hot route guy,  the guy who gets open quickly, due to quickness.  Typically,  the slot guy is not the blazing downfield guy, not the catching the ball 40-50 yards downfield guy.   Covey just had a great game,  and we could see the agility,  the ability to get around guys.   Make a move,  beat a guy, get a first down.  It seems like Covey can do that.

The Eagles have 2 star WRs and 1 star TE,  and the stars all want their targets, and when the run game is going great,  there aren't all that many targets for the 4th best pass catcher.   Quez,  OZ, Covey.  And Albert O should be the 2nd best TE.  Big and fast and should know the offense well enough pretty soon.

Additionally,  the Eagles have a lot of freakbeast athletes who have done offense stuff on their resume.  They could be used as well.

Not if the mush is 5 guys rushing around the tackle box for QB contain and the RB has gotten to the edge.

I was hoping to see him some but I wonder if the Bucs going heavy on deep shell made it less likely to use him on a few speed routes.

Was going to say it felt like that side of the line wasn’t nearly as good that last drive but i haven’t gone back and watched it again. Was just based on memory.
