According to the ESPN box score, Quay has 17 tackles tonight. 9 solo. I dont think Barnett has that many tackles in his career yet.

We are comparing him to Seumalo last year (a good RG starter), but it’s also worth recalling that it took Seumalo several years to become reliable.

He’s much better than Seumalo as a rookie, or second year player, but Isaac was an absolute stud by year three. Seumalo pass blocked like no OL I’ve ever seen. I don’t mean as a beast but in the way he pulled from RG to block the DE on the opposite side. And he did it routinely. Stout could put him everywhere, and he did it.  Do I think he’ll be better, y s I do.

I’m not a FF player - but I was asked Reed vs Mims. I said Mims mostly because CHI is trash and I figured DET has a better defense and would do more with their possessions. I’m not a very good judge of garbage time stats though.

I dunno, I think Quay Walker is a good LB. At the very least he starts and plays a lot of snaps and makes a lot of tackles. Barnett is playing a dozen snaps a game without registering a stat. I think Walker has tremendous potential. He needs to get much more disciplined and I think he needs to be in a different scheme or at the very least a different team. I don't see him lasting in GB.
