Jeez.  Brown had a big game.  But he didn’t have a "deactivate your twitter account” kind of game for a rookie drawing a tough matchup.

Jets just held the Chiefs to a field goal with just over 2 minutes left in the first half over on NFL Network.  Really good stuff over in this replay.  20-12 Chiefs, but we know the storm that is about to come in this one.

Might have been castellanos other finger

The stats show that the Eagles have one of the worst pass defenses in the nfl, so who didn’t play fine?  When bad qbs are passing up and down the field at will, someone is a problem.  We putting all of this on Desai?  It’s not all Edmunds.

Hes getting targeted, gave up a deep bomb the other week and the game tying TD Sunday.

The LBs, scheme, Edmunds. Sometimes the QB makes a great throw. Not being able to tackle Addison was really bad, no question. Sometimes average CB play means getting beat. Losing against Dotson is not some great indictment. And again, the numbers don’t really show him getting targeted and taken advantage of.

Glad Wheeler gave up those 2 barely hits.  Don’t need the emotions or added pitch count of a playoff no hitter….but aside from those little flares, this was going to be one of those games.

I thought I was going crazy when I saw the pitch counter over 90 already. He has been pretty wild outside of the 2nd inning though.

He looked like he was ready to cry on the bench Sunday.

The secondary is being taken advantage of and the numbers are bad for the group….

That generation is soft man.

We have 2 red dots for the opposing offense: Edmunds and Cunningham. They're being attacked relentlessly. Their combined cap hit is 3.2M. It tells you that the league doesn't think they're good.

To the extent that we can trust stats on this site here are some interesting numbers. Which are not "good" but I think are livable. Like if this guy is your weakest link, its not all that bad.

We’re talking about Jobe, not the back seven as a whole. I’m not saying Jobe is a shutdown corner, but the stats don’t really suggest he’s been weak link out there.

Yup. He’s been all over the place and the Phillies making contact. It’s why i wouldn’t have sent castellanos. Make him earn the outs cause right now he is struggling

I kind of understand why in the first inning, they didn’t send Schwarber. If you send Schwarber, he gets thrown out now you got two outs only runner at second with bohm up then harper. If it wasn’t Schwarber over at third and it was somebody like Turner or Rojas easily they sent him. But because it’s Kyle Schwarber, and he’s not very fast you have a potential of killing the inning with a double play.

I don't watch baseball. With that said, f that lesbian troll who said Phillie fans are fairweather fans. Stone him in the town square

I think their secondary has 4 weak links right now.

So according to that he’s been targeted 14 times and given up seven catches. Am I reading that right?

I'm liking the Roby signing

Put it this way on Jobe…if the Eagles cut him tomorrow…and yes this is accounting for the reality that rosters are set and teams would rather have their own back of the roster guys….I think there’s a 90% chance he makes it to the PS and stays on the PS unplucked.

I’d say one for sure (Edmunds or Evans, depending on who is starting), but we have two really bad coverage LBs right now and a DC who decided to play off coverage an insane amount against Washington. Slay hasn’t been great either, but I wonder if that’s been more coverage busts than him in particular.

yes.

Disappointingly what I wanted to see was target separation but its blank for whatever reason.

I dont expect an average starting CB to make a ton of PBUs or INTs. Occasionally yes, but for the most part I expect them to be close enough to make the tackle right away and not allow any YAC.

I wanted to see how his target separation compared to that of Bradberry.

The stats that are available on that site show him to be having a better season so far than both Slay AND Bradberry.

In slay’s defense he’s always struggled with mclaurin. So that’s not anything new

I think there’s a 90 percent chance Arizona would claim him, let alone other teams.
