Howell is a better version of Taylor Heinecke isn't he?  Run around, get some yards, chuck the ball up - lots of chaos but not a bunch of consistency.  But good to see the Commies come down to earth

Forbes is going to retire after one year

I think Forbes will become a pretty good CB once he realizes what he is. He is not and should not try to be a physical CB. He's just not built for that. There have been great CBs that weren't physical guys --- like Deion Sanders and Asante Samuel. They understood their strengths and never tried to be something else. Forbes shouldn't listen to the people clamoring for more physical play. He should just be out there playing the ball, which is his forte.

Fortunately, he's not an Eagle, so if he fails at the NFL level, who cares? So far, I see a talented football player with a Jalen Reagor mindset. His problems may all be mental and he may not be able to get out of his own way.

Regarding the DJ Moore sideline play. Doesn't he have a whole production team behind him that would go to replay? I know watching Merrill Reese in the booth, his spotter is burning 5,000 calories with how much he's moving around and making sure Merrill and Mike are set.

You either have him or you’re going against him in fantasy. Aren’t you sir?

Money league.  It has wacky scoring where you get bonuses if you go over 100 (7 points) and 200 yards (12 points), plus bonuses for long TDs. (40 yards gets an extra 3 points, 50 gets 8 extra)  He's my #3 WR behind Kupp and Waddle.

Wasn’t he the player who called for a fair catch against the Ragles and then ran with the ball, but wasn’t given a penalty?

I think it wasn't a invalid signal penalty because it was a valid signal.  He just tried to pretend it wasn't which I am not sure is a penalty.

Anybody is a better version of Taylor Heinecke; the guy is a waste of space out there.  Howell has some ability, but he's not going to amount to anything if he's stuck with Rivera and Del Rio.  Those guys should be gone after this season.

He looked like he waived for a fair catch.  But was shielding his eyes.

Covey did the same thing earlier in the game.  Of course,  I still would have liked to get the call against Washington.

Eagles 33 Rams 27

Bonus: Goedert scores a TD

@FranklinFldEBUpper

I mentioned Kenny Durrett. I’m old but not old enough to have seen Guy Rodgers and Hal Lear, so I can’t speak to them. The best since then I think was Jalen Brunson.

I certainly hated Villanova when Kraft was coaching. Thug ball. I rooted for them against Georgetown when Rollie was the coach but went back to hating them thereafter. Jay Wright won me over, though. His teams played beautiful basketball.

Eagles 34

Rams 27

Bonus - Bradberry gets an INT

I haven't seen it with Forbes yet, you would think after last week he would bounce back a bit but he ended up getting benched. He would need elite play recognition and would need to be somewhat physical with receivers, but he is 170lbs with pads on. The coaches scheme does come into play here, and I have no idea why he was lined up against AJ or DJ More considering they have 40 lbs+ on him.

Teams are going to take advantage of that, and they are going to try to get bigger receivers on him, or exploit him in the run game.

Granted I only saw the first half, but didn't Howell throw for almost 400 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, over a 70% completion percentage?  That's a good day in most people's minds.  I think the problem is they couldn't get the Bears off the field.  Given the amount of $$ they are paying that defense, I'd be firing Del Rio today.  At the very least, it's time to bring in a "defensive consultant".

Also, how did the Commies play us so tight and they got blown out by the craptacular bears?!

I think it used to be a delay of game penalty, but they got rid of that.

But I do pay Canadien taxes with my purchases.  That probably is equivalent for what of their services I use.

Canadians pay the same taxes on purchases as you do. They also pay income taxes and/or whatever taxes Canadian nationals pay, I'm not familiar. Besides, taxing the tourist or foreigner is a time honored revenue source; they can't vote you out of office.

It was mostly garbage time stats. He had like only 80 something yards going into half down 27-3 and then they just passed the rest of the game.

Wonder if Miami trades Cedric Wilson now.

Oof.  Terrible.

They did that in front of a sell out home crowd, too.  Commies have absolutely no guts, no heart.

And yet... some fools will buy this.   (And those fools are in the NBA.)    Nike isn't even TRYING anymore.

I’m not sure a lazy player like Claypool is gonna thrive living in Miami. If he can’t make it in that system, it’s over.
