Only Eagles fans will demand to get rid of their quarterback when they're 11-2. Hurts could do everything "right", and you wouldn't hear a "we love you, buddy" out of most of them.

I will say, I forget which game it was earlier this year but he played really well (and that may be in comparison to the start of the year with turnovers), and it was almost unanimous that Hurts played a really good game. Even a lot of the usual harsh critics said so and that if he played like that every game they'd be happy. Even in this topic if I recall.

Hurts is scared to death of throwing INTs which makes him super cautious.  In otherwords he is playing scared.  You have to wonder if his buddies Smith and Brwon regret playing with him the way things are.  They must know the team is going nowhere in the playoffs if Hurts continues to play like this.

I remember when people were saying the only thing that could derail this offense was the qb turning the ball over. Now apparently the thing that will derail the offense is him not turning the ball over. 

The simple fact is this. We have an offense ranked 8th in the league, and we have already beaten four of the teams ranked ahead of us. We also have the best defense. 

That’s with a qb playing pretty average right now.

So either he starts playing better, and we should go far in the playoffs, or he keeps being pretty average, and we should still go pretty far in the playoffs.

If I was them I would demand to be traded next season. Its not gonna get any better for them as long as Hurts is the QB.

I don’t see what makes that an obvious bail out.  Both Devonta and AJ have separation.  The ball has to come out there.  He also had a clean throwing lane to throw in the middle to Devonta.  
 

It’s like watching back yard football with Hurts often times.

It’s just funny to me all the Hurts haters who come out of the woodwork.

Does he deserve criticism? Yes. He didn’t play a good game yesterday. Took some sacks you can’t take and was hesitant with some of his throws. But he still accounted for 3 TDs, made some plays with his arms and legs and didn’t turn it over and more importantly won. He’s played some good games this year, where Barkley hasn’t got it going until late.

Second team all pro and amazing Super Bowl performance in 2022. Was leading candidate for MVP in 2023 after 11 weeks.

Brown needs to get out? He’s had his 2 best seasons by far with Hurts. 

Hurts didn’t play a good game. But to be honest I’m far more worried about Elliot who has stunk it up all season.

That's because Hurts was making poor reads and turning the ball over. They're basically playing it safe with Hurts by not having him drop back so much and it's working for now. He'll drop a beautiful dime deep every now and then but we won't be winning in the playoffs if we have to rely on Hurts passing

We are 29th in passing with this O line, 2 pro bowl WRs a good TE and great RB

I'm worried about Hurts and Elliott. Elliott looks to be finished. Wouldn't surprise me if he only makes it one more season in the league and doubt that season will be in Philly. Maybe not doing kickoffs has screwed him up, who knows but he sucks this year. 

As for Hurts he waits for his target to be super wide open so often he ends up getting a sacked. Seems every other pass play is a scramble drill as a result. Starting to feel those vibes from late last year returning. 

At this point the first quarter is just trying to not get too far down on the scoreboard. Not sure this team even competes for a wildcard without Barclay. The offense is so disjointed looking. On to the Steelers.

Tbh, every other week we're down a crucial catcher. Smith brown goedert...

 

Barkley was injury prone in NY and now hes made of granite while carrying the offense.

Hurts certainly isn't playing like a top tier qb.

 

 

Im actually not too worried about Hurts being a game manager or not throwing a lot. If he is fine with being a game manager, then no one else should care either. The problem only arises if he is somehow being restricted or not allowed to play the way he wants. And we have seen no sign of that. So if this is how Hurts wants to play and is winning and he isnt bored of it or complaining, then whats the problem?

And AJ needs to calm down. Does he want a ring or does he want to fill his ego?

Dude. This is isn't just  'one bad game". This is a reoccurring problem. You just can be putting up those kind of numbers with the talent we have on offense.  Its criminal at this point.  There is zero excuse for this offense being at the bottom in Passing in the league and this issue solely rests on Jalen Hurts, This has nothing to do with the Eagles being Run Heavy, Plenty of teams  have managed to be near the top in Rushing and Passing. In fact  the whole point of a  Rushing attack is to  ultimately setup the pass but somehow this team can't even do that.
