Hate to say it…. Hurts got paid. He’s done

I like winning, because I’ve seen al lot of losing. I just realize Hurts has more to do with winning than people realize. Funny though. You’re the one who was happy Hurts isn’t playing. Hurts has been the quarterback under center for those wins. I knew we were cooked, but you were happy. So be happy in your loss with a guy who couldn’t beat out Andy Dalton.

Hurts rode a great running game and defense. They win in spite of him. Get over it. Your hero is cooked 🍳

I'm not a player fan boi I'm am eagles fan. You should try it instead of rooting for them to lose.

  • All of those guys changed teams  I like where you are going with this

  • Coaching and play design?  I don't understand why Hurts has so many plays where he stands in the pocket and delivers accurate passes but you guys never talk about that, only the bad plays.

Miles Sanders hasn’t done squat since playing with Jalen Hurts. No quarterback you cream your pants over is going to the Super Bowl with Miles Sanders.

The hurts fanbois are worse than cowboy fans.

Why, again, are we blaming Hurts right now?

I was told Hurts threat of running makes the running game unstoppable.

I remember that lol

I just find it amusing that the haters are quiet. I'm sure they all had their arguments planned out and were just ready to rag on Hurts if McKee played well, but he let them down.

Hopefully, Barkley will be back next week and we don't have to pass 3:1 and can beat dallas.

If the OLine still sucks, we won't run the ball well and probably won't beat Dallas.

We are on a 4 game losing streak. Barkley coming back will not make a big difference, unless he can pick up the blitzing LBs.

Unless Howie does something to fix the OLine, we are probably gonna have a 5 game losing streak.

Same thing I have been saying....every team is going to blitz, blitz, blitz....this is the formula that has been shown and these dummies have yet found a way to beat it dating back to over year ago...and Barkley isn't that good at blocking...he already has been trucked at least twice this season that I can remember.....

they need to trade that dude before his value drops any lower

OLINE was not terrible today, well other than not picking up blitz, and the bad snap they have improved

Congratulations you haters got your wish. No Jalen to worry about so this team should win now right clowns? No excuses either.

We blame Jalen when the O-Line fails to block and pick up blitzes. The line is terrible when McKee can’t escape the pressure though. I’m not coming at you here, but I’m just pointing out how the excuse machine works these days. I say just trade for Herbert so we can blame everyone but the quarterback can’t get out of the first round regardless of his coaches, teammates, city, and coordinators. Bring that guy in here stat so we can get back to losing but at least the quarterback gets meaningless stats.

IF and that's a huge IF

At least he had a career most QBs dream of

Thanks for the Super Bowl win!!! Get healthy and have a great rest of your life, Jalen. 🏈👍

Barkley can’t even run behind these schemes and line. I agree they need to be in sell mode to replenish this talent.

i hope we shut barkley down to preserve his legs for next year.

There's no way Lurie is giving the historically worst second half QB in the league a 3rd contract. If he's smart hurts will ask for a trade instead of making waves for a new contract. Thanks for the entertainment, while it lasted. Good luck on your next team. 👋

Anyone celebrating the backup in his first start of the season throwing for 215 and a TD with no picks or fumbles like it's some kind of flex, or proof of Hurts expert ability has set the bar so incredibly low it's laughable. Tanner just needs a full year in the system. And a run game. And a number one defense. And a new offensive coordinator. And a new WR. And a new coach...

He can go on PUP next year and collect his entire salary then retire a rich man

They need to trade that man away, and get something for him. It’s time to definitely turn the page from these older guys. Frankly they took too long to get Lanes replacement and when he abruptly retired they had no plan. Trade Barkley and get younger.

Clot shot

Don’t mean to go OT, but I agree with the above couple of posts. In that, Saquon, once healthy, needs, if possible, to be traded ASAP.

The problem with quitting on the season is it makes it harder to evaluate the replacements that have to play. I would be against trading Barkley, the only RB on the team that has produced this year (averaging 5.1 ypc), not only because he's by far our best RB, but because he's maybe the last leader we have left on offense. Whatever QB we decide to move forward with will have an easier situation if Barkley is starting, than if Pierce is starting.

The return in a trade for Barkley would be the kind of day 3 pick Howie would throw away to move up 5 slots in the 4th round. He has more value to the team than the return we would get in a trade.

Even with a bad o-line, the 2022 giants rode Barkley to a wildcard playoff win. I'm not sure our offensive coaches are smart enough to do that, but I don't think watching us use a 1:3 run to pass ratio the rest of the season will keep fans from selling their tickets.

Not to mention the $9-10MM dead money in 2026 and the huge $26MM dead money cap hit in 2027.
