I drove through south central and downtown L.A. yesterday and you mostly see black people out on the streets acting like nothing is going on. No social distancing. No masks. Get up to northeast L.A. and the hipsters are all masked and crossing streets to avoid sharing the same sidewalks with people. I did see a prostitute on the corner in south central wearing a mask the other day though. How much did he charge you? Never gets old.

No. They claimed they were shooting a burglar even though the video clearly shows him minding his own business jogging down the street. The cops believed the white guys because Georgia. For anyone that wonders why we have hate crime laws, this is why. This has become common place in the south. Good 'ol boys kill black folks, and because the murderers and cops are all good 'ol boys, no charges get filed. Hate crimes are a federal law, so the feds can step in and press charges and make arrests.

May 7, 20205 yr Why was he being recorded? How did they know he was coming? Was there some kind of supposed motive other than race? I haven't really looked into this one.

May 7, 20205 yr I mean, at least on the surface level, we can probably conclude that Mayanh8's lib wet dream scenario didn't happen, right? I mean, there's no way two otherwise law-abiding dudes just saw a black dude jogging and decided they were going to go murder him, right? If two strangers pull up on you with guns drawn while you're out for a jog, you don't immediately start fighting with them and engage in a struggle for the gun, do you? We've been fooled by deceptively edited footage in the past. I definitely think there's going to be a lot more to this one coming out soon.

If multiple strangers pulled up on me with guns drawn my first reaction would be to either try to run or put my hands up. To be clear, I'm not saying these guys are innocent or guilty, I'm saying there's probably more to the story than these guys were hunting a black dude for jogging and decided to murder him for kicks and giggles. It'll definitely be interesting to see what additional details come out about this.

Why is that so hard to believe? It's been happening in the south for over a hundred years. There have been a ton of highly covered cases that were exactly that. Who could forget the murder of James Byrd?

Look at it another way. If three guys were willing to kill an unarmed guy in jogging shorts, they are potentially a danger to society. They are entitled to a fair trial but they should be charged. If you think 3 black guys killing an unarmed white guy would be allowed to walk away Scot-free because they claimed the white guy was a burglar, you are fooling yourself.
