May 7, 20205 yr Was there an APB out for a black person or something. Why are we only getting cherrypicked info. What did the 911 caller say before or after "there's a black man running down the street"?

They still haven't even been arrested. I'm sure it's still going to be disgusting and racist but there's going to be more to it.

They are entitled to a fair trial but they should be charged. If you think 3 black guys killing an unarmed white guy would be allowed to walk away Scot-free because they claimed the white guy was a burglar, you are fooling yourself. Found a good thread on twitter with quotes from the DA on why she chose not to prosecute: Edit: There's more to it than the two tweets above. The thread is worth a read if you want to find out more about the incident.
May 7, 20205 yr The McMichaels can make a citizens arrest, that part is fine.... The law allows them to shoot the suspect dead in the road too? After the McMichaels are sent to prison, the local DA should be fired.

The thread is worth a read if you want to find out more about the incident. I've read it. Under the DA's provisions quite literally anyone in this country could murder anyone as long as they claimed the person they murdered was a burglar. There isn't a shred of evidence to suggest the victim was committing a crime. To further complicate this issue, suspect used to work for the DA. The two are friends. The entire thing stinks. Quote The case was filled with bias from the start, considering Gregory is a former police officer and a retired investigator for the district attorney. According to The Brunswick News, the case has already gone through three district attorney offices. Brunswick Judicial Circuit DA Jackie Johnson immediately claimed conflict of interest, pointing to Gregory McMichael’s more than 20 years of work with her office. The case was then assigned to Ware County DA, George Barnhill, who eventually had to recuse himself after Arbery’s mom, Wanda Cooper, found out that Barnhill’s son works in the Brunswick district attorney’s office, which had previously employed Gregory.

May 7, 20205 yr A man wearing a Ku Klux Klan hood was spotted shopping in a California grocery store over the weekend, igniting outrage from shoppers, management and the city’s mayor. Photos of the incident at a Vons store in the city of Santee, northeast of San Diego, were posted on Facebook Saturday by a local resident who called the man’s actions "disgusting.” The man, once unmasked, was photographed bowing his head as he leaned over his cart with his arms crossed on the handle amid the coronavirus pandemic.
