that makes some sense, but given the coaching we've seen this season, I'm also not willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

You dont have to. The players explained that one. Its not benefit of doubt. Its fact.

Hurts is a bad play caller. We know this. Also, one of those guys on the right probably ran the wrong route. Thats probably where DeVonta talked about him seeing one signal, and Goedert seeing a different signal. It wasnt communicated clearly and they ran routes to the same area of the field. Communication issues which falls on the QB. Not a design flaw by coaches.

What about all of the other times they were blitzed?

But you wouldn't turn down an elite franchise QB if you could get one. No one would. And every team will try to find one until they have one.

At what cost?

Panthers supposedly got a franchise qb and what did it get them

Its a sunk cost in alot if cases

Like I said id rather take my chances with a foles, baker mayfield rich gannon, chris chandler etc... and role with a punishing running game and dominant D.

That's a you issue then.   These guys aren't robots who are football 24/7.   They have down time.  He spends about an hour a week talking nonsense with his brother... big deal.   This is a nothing issue that you seem to want to make into a mountain worth dying on.  The issue isn't what these guys were doing in their off time... the issue is what they were doing in their preparation time.  They clearly weren't listening to the coaches, and the coaches clearly didn't know what to do anyway.   Kelce's podcast would about reason #251 for what went wrong with this team.   This is nonsense.

Agreed, I think they just have an issue with things that Kelce says on the podcast that maybe rubs them the wrong way, but it's a nothing-burger. Every player has side stuff going on and a long tenured OL who knows his job better than anyone on the team is the least likely to be "distracted" by spending an hour or two a week on something. It's a bad and weird take.

If they have an issue with what Kelce says, then they should talk to him about it.  He's never been one to shy away from airing things out.

I need meme therapy

Yeah, 251 is ranking it way too high.

not the players, the folks who are complaining about his podcast here.

In a game that highly rewards mercenaries, I appreciate this last batch of homegrown guys. Kelce, Graham, Cox, Lane...I doubt we ever have 4 guys with their longevity and loyalty on this team ever again at the same time.

I absolutely think Covey deserves a shot at the slot in camp.

Yup too many mercenaries not enough home boys this year especially on Defense.

And yes why not give covey a shot at slot.

Love OZ effort but he was invisible most games, whether thats on coaches and scheme eagles need more from receivers not named AJ and smitty

Oh boy, here we go. Announcers laugh at the Bills fans throwing snowballs at players during live game action but I'm sure this will make the rounds because we're the worst fans in the world right?

Look... popcorn can hurt a guy's feelings.

Now... throwing a snowball at an opposing WR during a play in the end zone... that's just being engaged in the game.

Out of curiosity, who would be your choice for Coach of the Year? I'd have to give it to DeMeco Ryans.

Was that Darius Leonard? Both have the same speed running

Without question

Good choice. Stefanski with an honorable mentioned perhaps since they had to play with 5 QBs and beat both 1 seeds.

They may own that division for a while. Stroud already looks better than Lawrence. The Titans are in full rebuild. And the jury is still out on Richardson. Would love to see Slowik come here. Would be my 2nd choice after Ben Johnson.

Lol did they figure out who it was? Seemed like the guy that ran up there didn't know

I’d try for slowik or Johnson. Vrabel isn’t going to help fix the offense unless he has a great OC. I’m not risking he gets one. And belichick’s offenses haven’t looked good since brady left. I much rather take my chances on slowik who’s running the Texans offense or Ben Johnson
