clickbait

If so it's on "Inside the Iggles" and this should never have been approved. Just a black eye for the team. If your opinion is bad comments at least put them in a "these guys were bad" article. Very poor judgement to single this kid out. I would send him the "singing pig" if I could. The "BUST" is the areshole that called him a bust after 1 pre game. Yeah he should be a pro bowler by now ๐Ÿ™„

Think we go 6 WR's at the expense of a TE spot. Gut feeling. Mattwill said Lemon to IR which is a possibility for now. QB's no need to make a hasty decision yet. Lots of time to go/regroup for alot of these guys. Everyone making knee jerk reactions after 1 pre game. Lampkin needs to be on the 53 IMO, but he needs to keep playing well. I will say it again, Wick's is going to surprise alot of people. Pre 2 will tell us alot more

Iโ€™m honestly thinking 4 TEs over 6 WRsโ€ฆ. Latu just makes a ton of sense for us as TE4 really good ST player and even played FB for usโ€ฆ was our best blocking TE last season as well.

Guess we could not to try and sneak Latu on the PS and call him up similar to what I think we will try with Johnny Wilson.

QB is going to be a curious one as well neither of the #2 guys seemed to do well and neither have been looking good in camp either.

Dalton might be washed at this point really concerning to see a veteran of his caliber struggle so much against backups.

McKee something has just seemed off all offseason

Have to wonder if Cole Payton will get a serious look at being QB 2

Way too early for Payton to be QB2.

Possibly but he is also the only QB that showed anything in the first preseason gameโ€ฆ. Think he at least deserves to be in the competition for that.

McKee flashed a few times here and we thought he could be a 1 somewhere, but that has died on the vine. The kid we took before and lost is doing well ๐Ÿคฃ(forgot his name)

My main worry is if Smitty get injured. We know he's elusive, but also a frail build. Need to have some depth for him, that's why I assumed 6 WR's(plus a PS or 2). So we'll have to see what pans out. 4 TE's could work with more WR's on the PS but that would place some nice depth WR's on the grab list. I've been teeing off in the comment section of writers who are calling Stowers a bust. Bunch of click bait pimps expecting pro bowl play out of the gate. If I was closer I would slap them upside da haid

I was pretty SHOCKED that neither McKee nor Dalton did anything at all. Very pedestrian, they should have dominated against 3's

He showed two things, (1) the ability to scramble, and (2) the tendency to bail early.

Its way too small a data sample to draw any conclusions.

i'm sure we will get a bunch of sensational stories coming out about the joint practices with the Pats the next couple days as if the season hinges on them.

Did I say give him the job? I said let him in on the competition. Again easily the best QB we had in the preseason and thatโ€™s with two proven guys in front of him playing backups not showing anything.

Tough 7x7 period for Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense against the Patriots D. I counted three interceptions on two different periods. Patriots safety Craig Woodson had two interceptions. Marcus Jones had another that would have been a pick-six.

obviously siri O handcuffing counterproductive for future HOF qb.

I donโ€™t agree with your final sentence. He has been better than the drafted QBs from 2025 and 2024, but thatโ€™s as far as Iโ€™m willing to go. Iโ€™m pleased with what Iโ€™ve seen, but need a whole lot more input to come to the same conclusion you have come to.

159 total yards of offense against the Ravens and 1 TDโ€ฆ.

82 of those yards came from Payton and the only TDโ€ฆ.

The to proven guys did nothing Payton was easily our best QB that just being objectively unbiased based off the performance of the team

That has to be false because Hurts was the star of the 7 vs 7 "pro" Bowl(aka flag wussie ball) with no rushers and 30 seconds to make your decisions ๐Ÿคฃ. Tomorrow I cross the threshold from being a "senior citizen" to a "living fossil" ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸฆฝCremation will be my last shot at a smokin' hot body

How many of those yards were broken play scrambles?

Thats part of the game the ability to use his legs was a selling pointโ€ฆ. How many broken plays happen throughout the nflโ€ฆ. How many broken plays does hurts convert because of his legs, mahomes master of the broken plays

At the end of the day only one of our QBs was making plays and was the best in the preseason game it was Paytonโ€ฆ. And honestly think it is far more concerning that Dalton and McKee looked so bad barely able to move the ball against backupsโ€ฆ.

the fact neither Dalton or McKee have been doing great in camp either yea Iโ€™d definitely shake up the competition and give Payton a serious look.

I need to see more of Payton. But yeah, he's definitely the winner out of the BU QB's to this point.

The problem we as fans face in making any evaluations, much less coming to knee-jerk conclusions is that we have no idea what the focus or objective of the coaches chosen drills/plays is, so expecting to reach some kind of informed outcome is just silly. The primary focus of the coaches is to put players in competitive situations with some structure so the coaches can get good tape for evaluations. The outcome of each respective play is pretty irrelevant. The process of the play trumps the outcome.

So true. Excellent explanation.
