But serious it is nice seeing Bell come along be huge for him to be our next stud T

Hey I put myself out there. You get my take on most every Eagles move in real time. I explained my reasoning. Be great to be wrong. Would love it actually!

Heck I might have just been completey off on my take on the entire draft. Ravens rookie WR looked good. Our first two picks haven’t given any reasons to believe they would succeed yet. I could be taking a complete donut on my draft opinion. But you know…I’m the guy will come right here and be the first to own and admit I was wrong at least.

Half? Bet me on that please. Practice squad doesnt count.

Ok

Ok

Let’s see 11 O starters plus Lemon. 11 D starters. ST all played. Up to 23. Burden lays with you now to close the gap. 53 man roster. You need 4.

I threw it out there more loosely..”half.” Really meaning would need around 8 to really make me wrong. But I’ll give it to you if you just dead technically take it straight with 4.

Yes. However, how many guys even played that will make the roster?

Worry is that no rookies impressed even a little. First play from scrimmage, rookie TE called for holding. Ouch.

But preseason football is freaking boring!

Sure, but this is the sorting process and those that survive will be our BU's. Don't discount the value of good BU's. Your season could depend on them(see Foles). So, it would be nice to see us succeed vs other teams BU's and we failed badly. Ability to move the ball and score means what you have in place is a functioning model for the starters. Only 1 game, but it shows we are behind the curve. They scored on our BU D,our BU D could not stop them. No panic but it's not a good look

Cole Payton showing some flashes though nice to see sure was against 4th strings and guys probably not going to make the NFL but it’s a start

It's concerning that he was the only QB to move the team and score. We were under100 yards for the GAME before he came in

It’s because Hurts doesn’t throw over the middle

Actually should have been expected from Mannion…even from an optimist.

But….will Siri push his way in on Mannion in a record time even for him? Let’s see…it was week two he started on Moore. Completely took over fifth game. Got to at least give Mannion one game and not completely pass judgement on a developmental coach before week one, right?

Mannion stands very little chance of surviving here

So very concerning when you have the most experienced vet QB playing in a PS game. Tanner….very high level QB option in the PS I believe also.

Dalton and Tanner should equate to PS dominance

Sen, 90 people in camp - 22 that will start. Add in a few that usually play in rotational spots. say what 4-5?=27 Add in your top rookie draft picks that you have no intention of losing, say 5-6?=33. So out of 90 roughly 33 are locks to make the 53. 90-33=57 guys trying to make the final 20. Of those 57, 2 will be QB2 and 3 without question=55. Tank isn't going anywhere=54. So 54 guys vying for 17 spots. Why it's called a camp battle 54 -17= the number that WON'T make the 53=37. Of those 37 the best remaining will go on the PS or IR

A few of the non starters are still under contractual obligations for various durations, so very difficult to crack in. Really need to stand out. Darius Cooper is one, but can't stand out with CRAP QB play. Mattwill hit the few that were worthy of mention

Positives: operation was good. Subbing in and out seemed just fine. Playcalling was getting in without noticing any rushed(get the play off quick) snaps. Much of the logistics you’d worry about from Mannion first timing? That stuff he’s on top of.

Like the 5 mil owed to Hollywood…bigger decision to just cut him loose.

Ty Robinson has a giraffe neck

Weru and Uar I’m just shamelessly emotionally rooting for. Such a great story with both. Very first PS game already both logged significant snaps. Don’t think I could overstate how huge that is.

Have to admit I’ve watched this an unhealthy amount of times….brought me way too much pleasure

Could you imagine that happening to our franchise’s best ever QB in a PS game?
