Really you can't ask for more in pass protection than not giving up a pressure. We know he didn't give up a single sack last year with Miami, playing against top college competition in big games. But not giving up an official sack is different than not giving up a single pressure.

If he continues to not give up even a pressure during the entire preseason, vs PROS, that's a great sign. you would figure guys he plays against now are coached to attack a weakness. So a good sign if Bell can completely shut down anything AGAIN!

Ahhh…yeah ..no. Think him doing things the right way is most important right now. He was far from perfect. Good start for sure though!

Cap….need him to show good fundamentals and technique. First PS game pass rushers weren’t studying preparing for him all the way. Really what matters. Because that’s what they’ll do.

Not reports I read. Was disappointing start from all. Think mainly based on he’s just not super freak athlete physical guy. Not speedster, not big, not tall….which was all known.

I actually was more thinking don’t rush the kid. Yes…he needs every rep. But rookies all hit the wall first NFL season. Real tough if he’s struggling through injury because didn’t let it get right in PS.

But….im not the Dr diagnosed anything here. So trying to have some faith in good decision making taking place. Be upset this injury lingers through into the season though. Really could derail his rookie season. Heck… career. Imagine he’s struggling through injury first quarter of the season…then it gets worse and he can’t even suit up? Plenty being labeling him a bust in that scenario unfairly.
