Eagles’ FO will find guys that were cut by other teams to replace many of the guys that are bubble players. Leaving kicker, punter and long snapper out of the equation because they have NO competition, it’s just a fact that we won’t see MOST of these guys when the real games start.

I would like to see preseason go away. Just scrimmage against other teams and keep this garbage ball off the TV.

I digress. Actually, I just don’t care about preseason. I have lots of golf events to play in before the real football season starts. 😳 And I just bought a new driver!

@Asg 15 I'm curious as to whether you and your son dissected the game and what he thought of the Eagles' overall performance. Other than it sucked lol. I would've hand-picked all of the underachieving players and had them doing pushups after the game till I got tired LMAO

I didn't get to watch the game and have only seen bits and pieces.

From listening to the live stream it sounded pretty bad.

I never expect much in the first PS game but i don't expect them to play like an audition for the Special Olympics

And before anyone gets mad my wife and I volunteered to help with Special Olympics for many years

On the bright side we saw virtually every player we'll cut HAHAHA. Same here in Pantherville, but I used my cheat site to watch on comp. So pathetic they can't even show pre games free.

I do like that Mannion is experimenting with calling plays from the sidelines and the booth this preseason to figure out which he prefers.

Pros and cons to both I image be interesting which Mannion feels better with.

The 5 in serious trouble we all figured on already. The other 4 have not locked up anything it's too soon IMO. Poor guy that suffered was Darius Cooper who had to deal with CRAP QB play

Hard to see it working out as well from the booth as sideline. Would think he needs that interaction. Then again….up in the booth likely shields him more from Siri interference. Obviously Siri will be in connection on headsets. With Mannion not on sideline who really commands sideline interaction then? Pretty tricky and potentially sticky situation. But just as easily could be just the right balance for exactly our situation.

Well I hope he decides soon because he was poor either way. At least in his "debut" and you can only debut once LOL

Mannion from the booth obviously get the more Birds Eye view of the field…. And you have until what 15 second mark to communicate with your QB on the headset that can be pretty huge seeing the defense and adjusting.

On the sideline obviously get player feedback more naturally of what’s going on what’s working what isn’t etc.

Greenard injury they downplayed…but now reports with some believing insider knowledge isn’t believing he will be a go early season. So I might have been off on him also. Liked the move up for Lemon. But…Ravens rookie WR they took in the second, I believe, looked good and ready. As of this way too early to judge moment? I might have missed on supporting that pick.

Image he will decide by the start of the season but really no need to rush the decision now in the preseason.

Hard to judge a coach in the preseason though because you know they are keeping a really basic vanilla offense very little value putting film out there for other teams to use against you

I do think Mannion being a former player will favor the sideline more as a play caller but I do like that he is being open minded and giving both a shot to see what suits him better
