Seen plenty of teams move the ball all day yet struggle for varieties of reasons in the Redzone. While their opponent capitalizes at a high percentage in the Redzone on their lesser opportunities.

How about this very obvious fundamental about football: Defense? Did the Ravens win their first SB two years after stealing their team in the middle of the night that whole season on the backs of WR statistical production? Is there anything a D player or ST player can do to effect W/L ever in games?

\Yeah.. he is a WR.. that position getting stats usually translates to team success.

I absolutely have plenty of opinions based on Stats versus winning. But why do you keep ignoring what I actually was making the point about FLs statement? How DJ never been on a team with any hope of reaching the postseason…losers…how at this moment on his best team…this was reasoning for his actions? His most hopeful winning season is the driving force for his moment to react so poorly over his striving to play on a better team.

The hum drum method of all the backroom stuff... the office stuff... is boring.  Not the news of the roster building...lol.    Did you get any toys for Christmas as a kid?  Do you drive a car?    Do you think building your toys or building the car is so exciting for these factory workers... the office stuff behind the scenes is a lot of boring stuff.

I played softball a few times at the Vet in a tournament hosted by the Eagles front office ...the little guys, accountants, sales etc... you talk to those guys and they tell you all the boring stuff, not what we see on TV.   Business is not always exciting behind the scenes with detail.

Plenty of this applies I do agree also. All the running the business tedious boring stuff does exist. Dealing with all the stadium issues, paying all the bills, all the banquets, dealing with the city…..tons of hard work done behind the scenes to create what we see. Chef has to plan, order and prepare all his food….maybe has a problem getting a certain item from his normal source and has to scramble getting it. One of his workers has some issue that leaves him in the lurch. Very boring hard work is a huge unappreciated driving force to create everything. How many people even work for the Eagles? Directly and then indirectly. It’s big business…much more than 53 guys in a uniform.

HEY That/s my Avi

I knew that HAHAHAHA

I’m not disagreeing with much of your points No Mas. That’s the thing here. There can be more than one factor at play is the obvious situation I’m for some reason having to clarify here.
A team has their D with two pick sixes and a ST TD can lead to a W. All while the WR doesn’t produce big stats. While a WR can have a huge game and his team lose. On and on and on…

Now while all the boring following the rules stuff totally exists. It would be so incredibly naive living in a fantasy world doing the opposite of your statement about reality to believe everybodies following the rules. In fact is so rampant that the going against the rules engaging with FA or players under contract elsewhere when not allowed it’s not even really pursued by the league hardly. That’s just everybody is doing it understood. Hardly even referred to as cheating. That’s the smalll potatoes in the mega business NFL world. Might be hard for you to link corporate espionage and all those big corporation dealings with a game. Eagles valued at 8 Billion. You’d better believe all these rivals want to get our playbook, draft board, game plan….tap headsets…

great explanation for those of us not familiar

It's a very extensive network In FL. Imagine landing a copter between 2 suburban Apt buildings in a 60 MPH crosswind. These people do it. They are every bit as good(or better) than the Coast Guard pilots. Some were that formerly, some were even in Nam and Desert Storm, comparable to being a Navy Blue Angel. They only take the best

In the light of understanding what I just posted as reality….what Rosie should be working on massively is wuuuing(however you spell that) our next HC. The moment the decision about not a good time for HC candidates so bring back Siri…since even then the process began of figuring out every detail on which guy and how to get him. Learn about which teams might be competitors for his services. Learn every detail about the person to help figure out how to win him over. Does he like Philly? Not like Philly? What negatives and positives are we working with. Downplay reasons he wouldn’t choose us while maybe even coming up with a plan how to fix the issue…play up and sweeten the positives.

We might lose a draft pick here fellas. It’s all BS though. We all know these GMs are working things before it’s legal. They even created a whole "legal tampering period” recognizing this fact. Same old stuff different decade. They probably gave us nailed if they so choose to make a stink about it. But it would really just highlight something the whole league is engaged in. Something they really will never be able to fix. GMs and agents are going to communicate.

Sounds really confident in the GM here!

Crazy stuff. Actually deciding to choose and do a job that pretty much only revolves around difficult high risk performance with fatal consequences.

Saquan is Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season! Imagine if our QB didn’t stink so bad and we weren’t forced to give the ball to such a terrible option that only Hurts has to use because he’s so incapable.

Right the OPW is a RUNNING BACK,not AJ,not DSMith,so you are correct

What did you refer to it as? dealing with reality. You are coming at me like I’m the Penn St coach or whistle blew on our team to the league.

Examples everywhere in the history of football of a good player putting up stats for a team losing the game. A WR getting more opportunities from a team passing because they are losing obviously is the routine situation that’s never occurred to you.

See those words "ALL YEAR LONG"? I didnt say ONE game dude. RIF(reading is fundamental)

Only because Hurts stinks. Only reason any team or QB would give that bum Saquan the ball. Crappy QB play is the only reason we get the ball to such an inferior athlete and playing RB.

Every game has been "the Saquan game" ? LOL

Yeah one game adds up to a season. Winning a football game(s) is different than producing stats.
While my original statement was more about pointing out how you excused and reasoned DJ doing what he did over team success situation. A guy that’s been on just terrible teams that’s on his best NFL team this moment in his career.

The was a very clear moment and game…which was fantastic we had no problem facilitating for him to achieve. But yeah…you’re pretty much right. He’s arguably the best athlete in the NFL.

It’s scary to think about being so far from the hospital. Then again being in the city closer to the hospital brings more situations of needing a hospital.

Actually it can be faster, there are no traffic tie ups in the air

You going to give the ball to Derrick Henry or McCaffrey? Saquan? Any team? Any QB ever? Or those guys you’d only get involved because of Hurts deficiencies?

IDK why we can't have 12 wins. I see no one on the schedule that is brutally difficult except for the Ravens. The wuss seem tough this year There will be one game where we just suck. Every team has one

Faster isn’t the question. Knowing you are routinely going into situations nobody else would.

At this point there isn’t anything to be done but watch and see what happens. My first concern right now is the AJ injury situation. Not clear on what that is. Our team isn’t going to clear anything up for anybody either…we know that.

Up 24 points with 6 minutes to go will:

A) that WR be looked to massively to generate yards and TDs taking the most team risk?

B) more likely to be pulled being safe to have zero opportunity to generate stats?

C) run the ball

But yes, injury, durability and depth issues have always been a large concern for my thoughts about this season.

Just now, GreenbleedinNC said:

Thank you…not posting WR stats is exactly your answer
