Guess No Mas believes Siri taught Saquan how to leap guys backwards.

Or....follow me here... the great players are thriving on our team.  The last few years you have had Pro Bowl RBs...multiple OL...and stud WR play

So none of them have suffered being here...the great ones got even better.

If you look at it from an Eagles perspective...the team...that's great.

If your ONLY interested in the QB who from the start has had his limitations and has run the same stuff with every coordinator in his life and has struggled doing anything more conventional...then I can see why you feel negatively.  Because it should be obvious that with him, nothing is going to change

So the course of action is to hope manages the games and avoids mistakes...that's what works for the team.

All good...he is fine... not great and doesn't need to be great for the team to win.

You can see where Sirianni held Swift and Sanders back.

Sanders is a special talent ( pure genius observation there)  he thrived once he left Siri!

Dude is a stud.

But we are winning without needing Hurts it would be one thing if we were leaning on Hurts and his arm to win and you’re saying the coaching is bad but that isn’t the case.

we are asking him to throw 20ish times a game make couple plays with his legs otherwise its been strictly the ground game

And then the other part Siri has had a winning season every year since becoming the HC about to make the playoffs again and seems To have huge support players in the locker room

You can make a case....best coach in franchise history...due to his record.

He has more of a case than the QB there.

I was just meaning this as a joke. But this is too far even for me. I take back my poor taste joke and sincerely apologize about it. Not bringing anybodies daughter into things.

Hunh?   Dude you gotta chill... why would I be upset with thar Comment?

You didn't insult her.  You just showed how you like be adversarial just for the sake of it.   Wasn’t poor taste as much as not really funny. But no need to apologize... dude you are wound up so tight....relax a little.  Enjoy life!

Can we truly fault the coaches for wanting to come out and attack the weakness of the ravens D which has been the secondary though?

Obviously it didn’t work out and we still went back to our ground game but as a coach isn’t the job to game plan and attack the opposing teams weaknesses

Identify weaknesses but also especially in the passing game you need to have plays that get things going. You also should be thinking about setting up plays for later in the game.

I’m not buying the huge support part. But hopefully he’s at least worked out squashing the beef some. I don’t see us as winning without Hurts at all. He comes through with some crucial plays that absolutely makes a difference.

If anything I’d look at a team like the bengals and how the inferior coaching and GM are holding back Joe Burrow

I look at the cowboys…McCarthy is no football genius. It sucks that they’ll fairly likely fire him after this season. They still have a shot at the playoffs and all…but….

If they fire Zac Taylor I’m adding him to the list for sure. Better O mind than we currently have.

He’s definitely a quality all around QB. Not really exceptional at anything…but good to very good at the whole job duties. A bit arrogant and aloof…but that seems to work for some teams and franchises.

No OL and one of what 9 players with a 30 td and 5 ints not to mention didn’t chase hold out to start the year because of his contract and Higgins has been in and out the entire year and he is still producing.

So now you are latching Siri on to Stoutland’s job?
Hurts brought his friend AJ here..been obviously working with him on another level. Like how last season AJ breaks the record for consecutive games over 125 yards receiving. AJ deserves huge credit. But somehow you are blinded by Hurts Hating so much…. I just don’t even think you see that to do that somebody is getting him the ball.

Smitty I really just laying down as a great draft pick. He was very polished becoming a pro. Just has kept improving the whole time. He’s being fed the ball also…very nicely for a second WR.

I forgot Hurts was the guy on the phones making the deals not Howie lol…. Can say Hurts was the reason AJ had interest in Philly but definitely didn’t bring him here that was all Howie….

And I’m still almost sure you were one of the people mad that Howie gave up a pick in that draft to get AJ didn’t want to give up that 1st round pick called him a moron for doing so etc.

Or…follow me here…think about all I’ve stated about how Siri has skipped coaching and developing with our franchise QB. Do I need to detail it all back out for the …whatever-ith time? You are basing so much on that Hurts has been stuck with Siri. All extensive evidence points towards only seeing growth and improvement when the OC has a heavier hand in things. Been stuck in Siri’s nonPro(that’s really putting it nicely) scheme. Siri has been in charge of making the decisions on what time can be devoted on what.

Swift just needed to stay healthy…everybody knew that. But Siri isn’t the one to credit for the ground game…except The Brotherly Shove(full credit how deep he detailed that play out). Not sure if you are aware of our coaching staff in full. We have this top notch Assistant coach …Jeff Stoutland. He’s in charge of Oline and Run Game coordinator.

You say this…right after you said I wrote books explaining it all out. You just aren’t consistent.

Yeah I’ve been consistent saying I think JaMarr Chase is the best WR in the NFL. But I think high of Burrow as a QB also.

Swift was limited horrible pass blocker(this was highlighted massively when Gainwell missed time)about avg. in terms of pass catching for todays RB… was a good runner wouldn’t go as far as to say great.

Was great value for us with the trade not sure I’d have paid Swift the money the bears gave him though 24m over 3 years

Are you actually serious? I think you just might be. Best coach in franchise history comes in like a train wreck starts 2-5. Then such a dramatic turnaround after he was forced into empowering Steichen. Totally same team. 2-5 with Siri…goes on a terrific run to overcome Siri’s unqualified crap. They make the playoffs. So Steichen obviously is entrusted even more year two. Obviously you aren’t putting together when  the OC steps up taking the larger role….that means that every time Siri takes on a lesser role things look much better. Lose Steichen…Siri keeps rolling with what worked for Steichen …but has the terrible playbook and playcalling. Simple things about being in charge of the O all pretty much sucked. Team was so clearly winning despite Siri. Siri basically just had Hurts and company told to go out there and make a play. No real scheme, no thought of anything beyond one step. Formations that were the play…like seriously..line up this way meant we were running one play…not several plays from each formation. Not even like a countering play so it wasn’t so transparent in that look.

It just amazes me to hear from you trying to spin everything away from Hurts..towards your boy Siri. It was very publicly announced knowledge that he was stinking …and had to get out of the way.

It’s a line too far as I see it. No problem joking on you..but I’m better than bringing in anybodies daughter. I don’t see it as wound tight…I see it as beneath my character and standards as a person. Might not be important to some here…but is to me.

And yeah…it’s got to be funny…weak attempt by me on that front as well.

Man, you really forgot about my feelings about getting AJ. Rosie was striking out in every way possible courting WRs. Absolutely loved that Hurts went out and made it happen. I really see things played out as Hurts really setup the whole deal…just was up to Rosie to sign the contract on the draft clock. I wasn’t stoked about Davis pick. Needed a Nose but…

There was never a moment I wasn’t high fiving all around about getting AJ. Couldn’t lure a decent FA WR. The draft was setup so we would have needed to trade up to get any of the guys I judged worthy. It appeared obviously predictable that the WR the Titans took would be what was left at the pick. He didn’t thrill me…to say the least. Top few guys were strong though. Rosie just absolutely struggles with WRs. That move Hurts lined up shaped our franchise since.

We were in need big time…that trade fell right into our laps. It did have high risk…with his durability. I’d prefer a two headed monster backfield situation. If..something happened to RB1? We’d really be wishing we had a much better second string option. Kind of feels like we took a swing with Shipley in the draft….so his future upside potential at that point in the draft…is not a bad differing way to move.
Think I agree with you though…their offer would have beat what I would have been willing to pay. I had my eye on several FA RBs that we could have brought in. But just no brainer for me to get Saquan. Pay the absolutely stud RB. Not even that expensive in comparisons.
