Exactly why we need to advance the O all along. The answer isn’t ’Turtle Up’…it’s not teaching our QB "don’t throw picks”…it’s teaching how to succeed and thrive…you know what good coaches actually do for a living.

We can't advance anything, this is the best Hurts you will see. Same plays with some motion and Hurts under center more

So he could learn in college but not under Siri…hmmmm

In HS you have a HC maybe 2,3 assistants. There are no HS's with an entire staff. of course you learn more in college because you get individual attention

Why should Hurts need to be "taught" not to throw picks? isn't that a given? He should know this by now? C'mon man take the blinders off and join the rest of humanity

IDK how PFF can grade our O line accurately. How many "points" do you get for giving your QB time to read "War and Peace" in the backfield? Hurts is taking almost TWICE as long to get the ball out

"The strongest of all warriors are these two–Time and Patience." Feels like you haven’t read War and Peace. A must read.

So once again I will ask, what business is AJ in???? He's getting frustrated just like Lamb in Dullaz, except they have an excuse

Their coach sucks…too

The going will get tougher in post season as it does every year. Barkley is a stud and he will always give us a chance to win. Keep the KISS offense and keeping the ball away from Hurts. This however will piss off AJ and DSmith because that is how they earn their paychecks

Dumb approach for exactly what you admit to realizing…we had/have to grow and develop. The alternative was just capping our ceiling this season.

Hurts has had more than his share of "hand holding". We even broke him in under Wentz(not in garbage time) Pretty patient, yet Hurts can't progress beyond college

On the assumption he would have big stats. No WR likes to run around an entire game for 3 targets

Talk to Siri…his plan

Which is what you want to do,cap our season to "teach" Hurts what he should already know as an NFL QB

Siri's job is to win games,we can't win with Hurts arm. You have enough egg on your face to open an IHOP

Right, but you blow them off when they don't fit your agenda point. They are a "fair" INDICATOR of how things are playing out

They are a tool..can describe the situation very well…or maybe not well at all

O lines plan. Remember they want to run more? They also wanted the ball OUT of hurts hands

Well you have games where the stats don't match, but you look at them overall and adjust if you can. 6 picks needed adjusting and Siri did that

You stated once that in the Cleveland game Siri was "just trying to save his job". Wouldn't you do the same?

Not what our franchise needed. Siri’s been making that choice over and over again. He needed to work on getting everything done…all along. Get as far as you can always. But nope…he actually goes backwards more than expanding.

"illegal linemen downfield" is a penalty directly due to the RPO. That penalty goes away with PLAY ACTION

We started winning and gelling when he took the game away from Hurts. Very plain and obvious to see that needed done

Siri's job 1) WIN games 2) see #1 he doesn't give a rats butt HOW,his job is to win and that's what Lurie hired him to do. Why should Siri NOT win games to "advance" a player that cannot advance?

How many games and years has he been running with our franchise QB? Sometimes the short term answers are counter productive. You choose prioritizing winning week one over long term developing your QB? How many games later is he still facing what he skipped over?

How long has Hurts been here? Is he a rookie? in year 2? Dude please stop!!

Barkley and Hurts legs are the keys to winning

37 minutes ago, GreenbleedinNC said:

If that was abandoned that was MOORE who gave up on Hurts, not Siri. At least get the blame finger pointing the right way

I don’t believe that at all. Siri been working on weaseling back in minute one after Moore was hired. Plus the track record of Siri making these short sighted decisions

WHY do you need to teach a year 5(6) QB not to run backwards on broken plays? Even mental midgets can figure this out

Winning is short sided? Isn't that why you play the game,to win?

IDK any team that hires a coach to lose

38 minutes ago, GreenbleedinNC said:

That is Siri's job and he is doing his job

His job is to make the best decisions for the Franchise. This season had potential for big growth by seasons end. He decided to cap our season potential. Lowered our ceiling instead of raising it.

His to is to win games, that's ALL. Franchise decisions are made by Lurie. One of those franchise decisions was to hire Siri, now get over it
