Hurts was throwing the ball more and tossing picks in the first few games, then we made him a game manager.4 catches isn't sitting well with AJ. Do we go BACK to letting Hurts throw 30 times or not? I agree the plays need to be made, but Aj is miffed at the volume as well as Hurts missing him

AJ was not miffed at the volume.  AJ was miffed at the 90 plus yards and 2 easy TDs he didn't get thrown to him when it was right there.

Nothing to do with volume ..that's the conversation between you and Ham.

Belichick is the new coach for The Tar Heels?

He interviewed.

Did he get the job?

Not sure not even sure if Belicheat is that seriously interested in the position…. Lot of speculation that he has interest in the Jags job if/when they fire Doug

Watching some of these plays. We had Smitty and AJ run similar route depths. So Hurts had to pick one or the other presnap. If AJ cant get open then Smitty isn’t a second option. Don’t really like that play.

We only throw so few times that the pass rush winning quickly really has a larger effect.

Steelers defense that is the second-hardest one in the league to convert third downs on and are fifth overall in points allowed per game

QB's do great when you have guys pushing the QB from behind. Should put our O line and pushers in that 2 spot."Piece of Cake" scheduling helps out alot also which we had a boatload of. The other guys on this list actually play the QB position LOL

I think that’s being a little harsh to Hurts to say it’s scheduling. Mahomes gets to play the Raiders twice a year, over the past few years the Broncos have been awful and in fact the Chargers haven’t been very good either. Allen plays the Pats and Jets twice every year.

So name a year when our division was a powerhouse LOL. Look at the last 2-3 years schedules, and this year isnt really a killer either. Gnats have sucked for awhile, the Wuss only got decent THIS year and were replaced by Dullaz sucking this year,so it's not like we play great teams in our division either and the rest of the schedules the last few years have been easy,so I disagree. Hurts has had it pretty easy as far as facing top rated defenses. Remember when we beat SF because they had no QB??? How much easier does it get? Many W's(and scoring) came from the GL tush push which is a play only we seem to be able to do,so if you take that away what would our W/L look like? TG for our O line and the guys that push Hurts over the GL

And none of the others on that list have the tush push in their arsenal,so I find this stat very misleading, but disagree if you want as other than this year(because we have Bark) we used the tush push to keep drives going because we failed to get 10 yards in 3 downs. So it's fine,we agree to disagree

I’m not saying we haven’t had good fortune with our schedule? I’m saying so do KC and Buffalo.

Mahomes and Allen don't have the tush push, they win by playing QB LOL. Just saying. Mahomes lost Hill, had no RB's most of this year,so IMO alot of Hurts stats are due to the O line we have

Just wondering what this team would look like with Mahomes or Allen under center

Okay and I’m not saying that he’s in the same bracket as Allen and Mahomes. He isn’t for sure. But he’s got a better record than most QBs and it isn’t like they don’t have talent around them.

This is directed to you…. but so many want to give credit to QBs for wins but then make excuses for why it not there fault for an L.

Think Joe Burrow is the best example that wins/losses isn’t a QB stat dude is having an MVP caliber season yet his team Is sitting at 5 wins… pretty sure statistically Burrow is leading in all categories

Thing is with Hurts we want to give him no credit for wins but blame him at times for losses. We can’t have it both ways.

On a different note will say it is concerning to see this team with what’s seems to be internal issues after a 9 game win streak…. This after last season going 10-1 and the collapse and the internal issues
