Lmao it’s definitely on your end buddy you clearly think Hurts was going to be some world beater in any situation but then blame bad coaching for his failure????? So he was going to be way better in Chicago with worse coaching and worse roster???? Do you not see how you delusional you sound???
March 17, 20241 yr I think you can put majority of QB on this Eagles roster and they are going to find similar if not better success then Hurts… Top 5 OL, avg or better RB every year then you have a trio of AJ/Smith/Geodart. Hurts hasn’t been bad but not like he lit the league on fire either what does Burrow look like behind our OL???? What does Mahomes look like passing to our weapons???
March 17, 20241 yr I look at Hurts in the same way I look at Purdy right now they aren’t bad players but the teams around them play massive part in why they look as good as they have to start there careers…

Again want to know how some players get the bad coaching excuse for doing nothing entire 2nd half the season like Sweat but then Davis get completely bashed for his 2nd half play???? Both guys were non factors after week 9

But I can’t go back and actually prove that point since the thread been deleted plus after Howie struck out???? Smith was a strike out???? lol sure reshot was a swing and a miss but i know you were high on him.

In ARods and Wilsons case he's at the end of his career UH,so WIlson didn't jell after some years in Denver. Arod we don't know about,Watson looks like crap compared to old man Flacco. Flacco didn't need to jell,he stepped in and did his job,so you can speculate all you want, but O lines matter in the NFL and when QB's change teams it's a crapshoot, some work out some don't so to say someone sucks really depends on which team they are with. Like I said Flacco needed no time at all,"proven Watson" looked like crap

Real strong arm. Fast. Elusive. But this is where many just don’t understand how those are just tools for the job. A cannon for an arm does not make a Franchise QB. Not even that important for a Franchise QB to have. Rich Gannon comes to mind for me. Or Drew Brees. So many incredible QBs that had much less than the cannon. Really recall most of the football I’ve witnessed was the cannon armed QBs tended to try and force throws way too much. Brett Favre as an example. He could laser in an unbelievable pass into triple coverage and complete it. But he threw tons of interceptions to go along with all those completions. LMAO Brees was a pocket QB, Favre was a pocket QB. Why are all the SB winners pocket QB's? As opposed to Hurts,Fields,RG3 etc?The QB is hired to PASS THE BALL,not be a running back who can throw(Hurts). Pocket QB's-Young,Marino,Manning,I can list alot more. In college you can get away with being a running back who can throw, the NFL is different. Even Mahomes tries to pass before he runs

But going to a masseuse and paying for a hand rub? What the heck is that about? I have zero idea why guys even do that. Watson doing it habitually even. His personal life is not your concern

He needs to light a fire for the OTHER players, instead he is a ball hog.True leaders will let the other players shine, not hog the ball and rely on the tush push. Hurts is a very weak leader. He is likable, that's not the same thing. How many first downs and TD's did narcisstic Hurts get because we have a great O line???? That play should not be needed on every freakin drive

March 17, 20241 yr Author https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10113335-justin-fields-trade-rumors-unknown-team-made-better-offer-to-bears-than-steelers-did I predict Wilson sucks and Fields will start by week 5. And if not,I believe Fields will start in '25. Just seems to me you go with the young gun as opposed to too much wear on the tread Wilson

March 17, 20241 yr I can't understand why the Eagles FO puts so much into a backup QB. With very few exceptions, if you're playing your backup for an extended period of time you may as well be looking forward to next year

Picketts' contract is pretty cheap, it's that 3rd rd pick I didn't like. Then it dawned on me the long game as we may get that back in return in 2 yrs and hey - he may get to play and do well. Had wished we had more faith in McKee and just had to bring in some late rd/udfa types.

But I think the Pickett trade was a dumb move

I think there are better BU;s to be had . I see a few late round QB's hat woul be a better option than giving up a 3rd,especially when Fields went for a 6th or something like that

But Hurts is supposed to just overcome that with his superpowers I suppose? Fields you make the excuses …but trash Hurts.
