I mean Foles started a few places he was our starter under Chipper had one of the best seasons ever that was the e what 27-2 year.

Then got traded to the rams for Bradford. Was the starter but was terrible and lost his job. Pretty sure he was going to retire until AR convinced him to go to KC as the backup.

Then came back to Philly we know that story got paid by the Jags and was meh again.

Foles just wasn’t a good QB outside of Philly

We have a great line, have for some time thanks to Howie. Even BU's look good. When Wentz went down the whole team turned up their game a notch to win the SB. I still like Ped. He wasn't a scaredy cat like wimpy Siri. Siri would never try the Philly Special especially with the players that pulled it off

He was awful at RT…not RG. He can play either G spot.

Like a plethora of other G's(guards I keep forgetting I have to spell it out for you). Dillard is really nothing special. I didn't like the pick when it was made

I'm gonna take Jake. If Jake can make mike work hard for 5 rounds, then youth will take over. He's taunting him already and the kid stayed cool. Not rattled. Seems focused, and teh quiet ones are the ones you worry about,If you run the correct tactics early om mike, and make him expend energy, while you can keep your power ready for the opening volley that will stun Mike, you can put this old man on the canvas for good.I'm taking Jake

Updated mock after trade 1-22-Jackson Powers-Johnson-IOL-Oregon   2-50 -Payton Wilson-LB-NC  2-53-Javon Bullard-S-Georgia 4-120- Malik Washiington-WR-Virginia OR Luke McCaffrey who had a nice combine. Either works for me.I personally like Malik but they may see things I don't   5-161 Could be a steal here, kids good--Nehimiah Pritchett-CB-Auburn  5-171 Breavan Spann-Ford-TE- Minnesota   5-172-Joe Milton-QB-Tennesse  6-211-Cody Schrader-RB-Missouri. The more I red this, the better i like it. What does everyone think? Seems to me to be the perfect compliment to our FS additions

IF he falls into 5(which he is on the consensus boards) he heeds to be an Eagle

A top draft pick got mopped by an undrafted rugby guy who never played the game before. Seems shameful to me!!!!

This is fair but think it speaks volumes of the amount of work Mailata put in…. Plus let’s be real there is no teaching his size and athleticism

Opeta was a decent option at RG or LG. He came in…not Driscoll many times. Driscoll was ok at RG. Not very good at RT.

Deb played RT fine a few different times when asked for fill in also covered LT alright the one time he did it…. Was he beaten at time sure he is a backup for a reason he isn’t going to be Lane Johnson.

Simple fact is versatility is huge for backup OL we can only dress so many… A guy like Driscoll who could give you serviceable play at 4/5 OL is way better then a backup caliber player that can only give serviceable G play.

I honestly think we upgrade on the interior with the Hennessy guy who can play all 3 interior OL spots

While we obviously look weaker at T and Lane and Mailata have both been known to miss couple games throughout the season. Have to up the next man is ready to fill in

Undoubtedly solid as a rock from Rugby, still, Dillard never lived up to his draft slot. Mailata put the time in and we had the patience. I remember saying we should cut him(Mailata I mean) to free up a spot 🤣

Reddick had his roster bonus pushed back to April 1st,  the idea is  it gives the Eagles more time to find a trade partner.

Or more time goes by and Reddick understands nobody is going to pay him the amount he thinks.

A busy week last week... wonder if we get any moves this week?

Anyway PLEEEZ check this kid out. Right now he is a 5th rounder. If that sticks tell me he doesn't belong here. He has that   (OH GOD Ham ruined this word for me) that "'intangible" intimidation factor. Not the hard physical strength kind, but my fav kind, the "It's my ball and you aren't getting it" kind. He also can hit for someone his size. He runs step for step and has a nice leap to disrupt the catch.Sinks his hips and makes fluid changes He also watches the QB's eyes to make those early moves for picks. Maybe toss on a FEW extra pounds, but I really like this kid and the attitude.IDK why he is a round 5,seems much higher to me,so will need to keep an eye on him. If he falls to our first round 5 pick I RUN to the podium. Just a super steal there. What say you?  he was a former WR,so he knows all their routes

Looking like QB's will go 1-4,with Marvin Harrison at 5,moves alot of excellent players down to us. Knowing Howie I still think its a lineman. I still have powers as the 22 pick(IOL Oregon). Some like Verse from FL st(edge)

Mock with explanations 1-22 Powers-Johnson-IOL-Oregon Top OG in this draft. I know it's odd to do this, but you will fix the RG position immediately and for long term. He has played 4/5 O line positions,so the versatility is also a plus. An exceptional O lineman like this doesn't come around too often. I usually say OG's are plentiful(which they are) but instead of tossing up FA's to see what sticks, this is a move that ensure that spot can be checked off for many years. 2-50- Payton Wilson-LB-NC St. .It's time for Howie to get over his issues and draft young defensive talent. This kid is just a beast(thanks for pointing him out to me Ham). Non stop motor and a very hard hitter. Also excellent in short yardage pass coverages. He's fast and a LB blitz can now be part of the Eagles play book. 2-53-Javon Bullard-S-Georgia. Tough player, quick reaction skills and quick to the ball. An excellent youth injection at an annual position of need. 4-120-Malik Washington-WR-Virginia. They could also go with Luke McCaffrey(Rice) here. I would be fine with either selection, but we need production from the slot and either of them would be a nice youthful injection. IDK how Parker will be used in this offense, but we need a young player we can bring along to be the future slot. I also like Ainias Smith(TX A&M) who was absent from the combine,so he could be the pick here also, but round 4 seems perfect for a WR addition. 5-161-Nehemiah Pritchett(see video)- CB Auburn IMO if he falls this far he is a steal. 5-171-Brevan Spann-Ford-TE Minnesota. Still in search of TE2 and this kid has serious potential. Needs additional coaching, but the skills are there. 5-172-Joe Milton-QB-Tennessee-Another QB to compete with McKee for the 3. If he pans out, then you can lose Pickett the following year as one of those 2 QB's steps up into the 2 with the other being the 3. No more FA "used" QB's 6-120-Cory Schrader-RB-Missouri- Love this kids attitude. never quits on any play,TOUGH runner. he will pound you with NP. he is rough and needs better coaching, but this kid will be a solid player somewhere. Not a 3 down Starter or anything, but he would fit fine in our RBBC approach. I know we have Bark now,but Cory could be a nice RB and he has time to work and get better for us. We don;t need to rush him in,he can work and improve to an eventual player in the RBBC

Ok.... my first chime in on drafts since nothing is going on except a camp body being signed yesterday and Reddick playing chicken with the contract.

1.  The Oregon OL has been the name I've heard the most...so I don't think it's odd.   They are thin at OL, Lane isn't going to be around forever and nothing is guaranteed at C or RG.

2.   Why draft a QB?  You have your cheap backups here for at least 2 more years.... 3 with McKee.    Pickett was a first round pick that we have for peanuts... no need to go there.

3.  We have Blankenship and CJGJ at S.  Why is it a " position of need"  at thr moment?

4.  The TE2, I agree with... wouldn't surprise me if he gets drafted in round 2.

5.  No DL at all on your mock?  This is a mock for the Eagles?  Without DL?   What do you think the chances of that are?

After watching this,I want to know who the WR is,he is always open

2) To keep the QB factory flowing. If they emerge for you, they are trade bait at the worst. Need competition for the 3,no sense just handing out the job. Round 5 is not a terrible place to make an investment. It's not going to kill your draft 3) Competition for Blank-may the best man win with the loser as a still solid BU if one goes down 4) Too high for him. If we pick a TE in round 2 there are better ones there. 5) We only have so many picks and we're very good at snagging UDFA's

We need the DL players we already drafted to step up their game
