February 8, 20251 yr Rodgers would be a very key guy to retain. He’d start….but shouldn’t break the bank.

That era...Rice, White, Taylor, Montana, Payton.... those were the true greats!

Didn't win ish in the post season Big discussion on the radio of what this game does for the legacy of some of the Eagles. Howie...they say makes him a lock for Hall of Fame. Siri and Hurts can go from guys who made 2 and then knocked off the 3 peat attempt from the Chiefs...compared to being questioned again in the offseason if they are good enough. Barkley with an MVP type performance could be elevated into all time great discussion of where he fits in. Fangio would finally get a SB win. Very interesting...in contrast to the Chiefs...nothing changes much if at all for Mahomes, Reid, Kelce or Spags...of they win or lose.
February 8, 20251 yr I think for us as fans too.... a win here would be nice to be in the group that won multiple SBs... then getting to 3 in 8 years moves to an elite level in the era. Also for me personally... I can spit on the idea of any jealousy toward the SF organization. At all levels, wins, making playoffs, playoff wins, making SB, winning SB.... even with the fluke luck of the blizzard vs that stud GB offense and matching up with choking Dallas teams twice...the Eagles will still have 10 times better resume. Without clearing cap. It puts the bed the second most annoying thing on this board behind " we should have drafted Ziggy Anzah for 5 years "... that SF is run better than the Eagles. Win tomorrow so I don't ever have to hear that stupidity EVER AGAIN!

It’s almost all that really can lift Spags, Mahomes and AR up anymore. The three peat never been done takes those guys to that next level. Very crucial. Could make the case for those three and Kelce being greatest all time respectfully at their jobs.

But did clearly see it as they were all in making that run last season….which they did. Niners did have a heck of a run. NFC went through them for such a long time. Be great to completely switch that to NFC gotta beat the Eagles. Right now just focused on winning the whole thing.

I still have no problems really liking Ziggy that draft. Everybody around him saw and knew he was absolutely elite Edge rusher. Detroit’s dysfunction mismanaging his injury ruining his career is really just sad. But you are the guy always brings him up…nobody else does. You argue against yourself mostly. But at least you should win that.

Now the results will define things.

The QB coach did a nice job with Darnold, but I see zero reason he should be COY. Quinn took a rook QB and made him offensive rookie of the year and took them into post season.Very tough to do,to get a rook QB that in tune with his offense that quickly. They were overmatched vs us, but lord he had so little to work with. Just an immense job he did. Campbell with the Lions has done a great job also. I guess my bar for COY is higher. Not surprising I guess. Are these the same fools that thought Eli Manning should be a HOFer?

Also, a good coach sees the team get better as the season goes...like Siri did with the Eagles. It is what it is, why I never pay attention to that stuff.

I was so fortunate to watch these guys live, So many more, the list could go on

Enticing Caff to play for them never hurt anyone, but his injuries did them is. SF has obvious gaps and they missed their window and it's going to be difficult for them to get it back

Should not happen, a real winning coach will take their team into the playoffs and win some games. HCOY is fake until they do it my way. So if you have an easy season of opponents, the voting is skewed. IMO you need to win when you PLAY someone, not as popularity contest
