And how can anything be proven otherwise they aren't going to record conversations ? The league doesn't really care much about it, as you saw " word is Chicago is driving the price up and Philly is out" that was BEFORE the 2 day window started. They know it goes on.... they don't really care. They focus on direct contact with the player. Much easier to investigate and prove something happened. The league likes the buzz... the talks about free agency...keeping football in the news.

Lurie already mentioned in an interview that they were assuming they would be getting comp picks! How is it your theory...lol. We know they will be getting the comp picks. It's not theory...lol

You can’t say the league created it as an announcement period …when the leagues own memo is telling the insiders not to announce these until the official league year begins.

What’s legal according to the rules…and what I’ve been maintaining that it’s been occurring the whole time against the rules.

I apologize... they mention all the deals...they can't have an official press conference until the league year starts. So you will find the investigations for tampering... will involve that 2 day period and making sure the team and player don't contact each other directly. That's what they care about... not if other teams have been talking to Baun's agent the last few days.

Makes no sense in spending money on outside free agents instead of your own winners. The trades make more sense this year. If you call it a master plan...feel free.

You've owned a few...etc. you are very smart man... very business savvy. Then you know...real life isn't always practiced exactly how the rules are written. The police aren't going to pull you over going 66 in a 65 mph zone. But if you go 80... that's a different story, because it's blatant disregard and significant breaking of the rules. That's why they don't care about the teams talking to agents ... but the blatant talking to the players before Wednesday is an issue.

See the issue stems because you don't want to admit that you thought the league was investigating if the Eagles were talking to Barkley’s agent prior to " legal tampering " The league knows this goes on...the investigation was always just about direct contact with Barkley any time before that Wednesday the league started.

That’s what I call looking over the complete landscape and making a plan. Ranking things out and having A, B,C …options.

The issue stems from I always assumed illegal tampering has been occurring with every team…really don’t care…other than don’t want it to cost us a pick. You just thought it was me taking a shot at Rosie. Being that I’ve always witnessed everybody has operated this way…I expect we gotta compete….which means do what everybody else is doing. So just isn’t a big deal at all to me.

March 6, 20251 yr Do you guys believe we should retain Milton, Sweat or Becton? Not only got to pay them…but you’re essentially trading for them because you’d be losing a 2026 compensatory draft pick.

Becton is almost a must for me though.

Feels like I’ve really just been targeting a bunch of mid-draft players I like. Not blown away by this draft class…plus our draft positioning. But…there is some solid depth in this class. So looking at day two and what I believe will probably be earlier day three draftees.

See I don’t get sucked into the mock drafting crap too much. I more browse big boards and positional rankings. Really my main thing is reading the scouting reports and watching the film. Which yeah…I’ll admit…usually begins…sometimes even ends in highlight reels.

Those are the best ones because you get all excited into day three of the draft and when they hit your guy you get excited. Like me and TJ Edwards

I like watching their full game tapes if you can find them. I want to see the good and bad. Like Jah Joyner. I'm from Minnesota so I have watched him. You have to remember with Big 10 DE they play 90% running teams so stats and highlight reels don't always speak the truth with players.
