All teams and agents have the right during the two day period….why would it said this? If they always had that right this statement would never exist. The whole creation of a two day tampering period wouldn’t exist either.

So you are saying they can't " announce" deals?

That was in your post!

How much are they getting paid... Sweat, Becton, Etc?

Stafford we know his pay from the Rams

We know exactly what Sweat and Becton are being paid in the 2024 NFL season ..which we still are in.

We don’t know anything about the contract really. But was more than you stated he’d ever get offered being his age and slight productivity so far in the league.

This is your best post... look at the contradiction between your 1st and 2nd sentences.

What services do these players have to perform for the Eagles at the moment?

Baun and Saquan were retained by their original team is why we could do it during the 2024 NFL season. Which it still technically is. Barkley signed two contracts within one single NFL season…technically.

Because all that ever was spoken was you said maxed out at 3 year 40 something mil. You stated that you couldn’t imagine anybody…including after reaching free agency…anybody paying him more than that.

Why are teams allowed to announce deals starting Monday for players that didn’t play for them in 2024?

We don't details...correct?

Of which I disagreed. Most anybody knows anything…about most anything going on here …would know almost certainly outside offers were even higher. He stayed with us on a team friendly signing…almost certainly.

Or do we know details...which is it?  Can't be both

I thought we don't know details?

Nope…you weren’t correct. Even at his age..and less than stellar production before this one season…he got more than you capped him at.

Man...it went from " we don't know details " to knowing Baun took a team friendly deal because he was offered more from other teams?

That's an amazing amount of information to acquire between posts about a minute apart!

You never even included anymore details in your statement when we were discussing it. You said he wouldn’t even get offered that…to be stolen away to the highest bidder. Yet…it took 3 year 51 mil just to retain him where he preferred to remain without it being the highest bidder.

Do I need to stoop to No Mas levels of Troll-dom to dig up what you said? Just man up for once. You were wrong.

But we can agree that we do know...

Free agency deals will absolutely be announced between next Monday and Wednesday.

We do know that Cousins and Atlanta spoke directly after his deal was announced last year but before the 2024 league officially started...and it is illegal tampering.

We also know there was zero direct contact found between the Eagles and Barkley in that same 2 day period.  So no tampering.

You can stop contradicting yourself

But I guess you wouldn't consider " we all know this is tampering except for No Mas"

I haven't been on here for hours...but surely that wasn't you being an unprovoked @rse whole?  It was meant in a nice way...right?

What is legal tampering in the NFL? The NFL's legal tampering window is a two-day period prior to the start of the new league year, in which teams can speak directly with other players' representatives and broker deals ahead of the official start of free agency

from the USA Today. Seems like a really really stupid thing to say and to officially create if it’s legal every day of the year. Makes no sense…your version. Not logical even.

But sure they created a two day legal tampering period specifically…to not differ from every single day of the year. Totally makes sense No Mas, NOT!

I wonder what Baun turned down from others. I realize this would have technically been tampering…but we all know it happens very routinely. Well all of us..but No Mas that is.

What was the purpose of this last sentence?  Was there provocation?

Or you being an jheerk ovv for no reason?

Seems like you have huge issues with the entire post actually from reading your statements.

Seems like your social skills are so bad that you don't realize that you initiate negativity and then try to act the victim!   Why so?  Do you just need to be that way?

Unlike how you say it’s completely legal for Rosie to tell everybody he’s been negotiating with Jayden Daniel’s agent since we beat them in the NFC Championship game, right? Not Jayden himself…but perfectly fine to negotiate with his agent even though he’s under contract with the Commanders. That’s what you say.

Is that your version of saying’  it’s like the pot calling the kettle black?’
