March 14, 20251 yr Now that this is out of the way.... again, Milton was given ELITE MONEY... $26 million is the 3rd highest at that position.... EVER!!! A guy that sits out run plays and plays less than half the snaps.... paid ELITE money. That causes problems if there isn't an ELITE performance. It's not the same as missing on a Huff or Malik Jackson. If he has a teammate out perform him, that will cause issues of that teammate wanting elite money. Now you start getting in the $30 mil range. Huff is a mistake that you just move on from, was never set in as a core piece. Your highest paid player is a core piece.

He should pass Jones $31 million.... I would assume $35 million, but similar to how they did it with D Smith, after announcing the 5th year option, this way it becomes much better cap wise. Might even go $40 mil as the shell #.

Chris Jones 31.75 mil and Garrett 40 mil. Probably have some more big contracts hit here too.
