March 25, 20251 yr Author So I have dualing mocks, the "stay put" mock and the "trade back out of round 1" mock. Personally I like the latter, but If we trade UP for Nolen(with the Rams at 26) then that doesn't leave us many other picks depending on what Howie wants to give up. Presently I have Nolen at 32 on the stay put mock,so a move up would blow all that up lol

March 25, 20251 yr "It's the culture, it's the consistency, the way they play ball. I'm undrafted going on Year 11 and I've made the 53-man roster every year. So, I know what it takes to have to do certain things from grit. Nobody expects much and I really go get it. So I feel like it aligns perfectly here," Lamm said after signing his contract

Could a Kendall Lamm signing be the outlier we actually all agree on? Only hard core Eagles obsessed fans would even blink an eyelash at this signing.

He will get to learn from 2 of the best in the biz while being a fill should lane get hurt.. I would also consider adding Lamm to the O line staff. Since we pried him out of retirement, I believe he still loves the game and being some asst coach would fit both him and the team. I think Nolen is pick, however if we let that go moving back can net us alot of future prospects. I love Howie, always on the move always working hard. I believe that replacement for Lane to be Belton(NC st)

March 25, 20251 yr Author I'm still having issues finding info on Mason Miller the G from N Dak st. He's a good player with no info and I can't figure out why

March 25, 20251 yr Author https://gobison.com/sports/football/roster/mason-miller/19543 I have no clue where to mock this kid, sounds to me like a nice late 2 early 3, but he is WAY under the radar. I'm sure we are aware of him. listed as a RT but seems to be a better fit at G. Him along with Belton would keep that right side tight and ready. I have him on my mock at 134 but I don't think he lasts that long. Interest also from the Pats,so the scouts are aware but little info for us fans

But I preferred not to have a rookie be the swing tackle this year... at least if we draft one, then he will have to beat out this veteran and earn the swing spot. It's nice you guys are in draft mode... I'll look to pay attention as we get closer. Right now, I'm looking for contract news and any trades. We are in a great position to get this roster young, lock them in and build it for long term. Goedert and Huff trades would open up $20 mil of cap space 2026 ... plus another $28 mil for 2027. That's $48 mil. I looked at having pre and post June trades, that's the eventual net gain in cap space either way... but I think one or both may be post June just to give a little breather this year. They lock in Cam and maybe Davis... set up money to lock in Carter and Smith next year... still in great shape to lock in the young CBs and Hunt the year after that. See how things go, maybe lock in Ojomo too. Just going to depend on which players decide to not test the market.

March 25, 20251 yr TE right now has to be addressed... you would think. Calcaterra is in his 4th year ... Goedert in last year.... so very likely need to move on to new guys in 2026 anyway. That's a position I think they look to get a legit player by draft or trade, that is viewed as legit #1 TE. They are going to be in position to get more comp picks next year we could assume... very possible. It's a lot of picks to where I don't see them using all as actual selections. They are really in an interesting situation... what if Brown and Ringo really step up this year, then they could be in line for extensions as well. IDK that we have ever been in this situation where we are this young and considered a contender rather than a building team.

Top two won’t be in our range. Not sure there is a third really standing out enough to consider at 32. But strong depth a the position in this class through round four.

Ridiculous
March 25, 20251 yr We sent scouts to TE Fanin’s pro day…maybe our QB coach went back also. Also having Edge from BC Ezeiraku in for a top 30 visit
March 25, 20251 yr I just can’t get away from Jayden Higgins. 6’4” WR that had already developed well on his route tree. Can play X or in the Slot. Has only dropped 7 passes in his whole college career. Good speed. Frankly this kid grades out as a first round prospect. But being ranked as a second rounder.
March 25, 20251 yr Eastern Kentucky guy that transferred to Iowa St…could have him battling DeJean in some rivalry practicing…iron sharpening iron.
