First…a bit frustrating to keep typing the same things over and over again because you are deliberately misquoting my thoughts.

Second: ver and over o keep stating very clearly Higgins can play X and the Slot. Which is a great value for us. Then we can move our WRs around instead of always playing the same spot. Not just that…but motion them after lining up because of this versatility we’d possess. Be huge!

Third: we’d be fine with Calcatteara. But still can and will draft a TE in this deep class of TE options.

Most guys that play X can play slot it's a pointless point

So can alot of guys, why waste a high pick on a guy for 2 targets a game? At least your TE can help in the run game also LOL Loads of slot guys will be release post draft

I hate the myth that a good receiving threat doesn’t aid the rushing attack. That’s a false philosophy.

Yet we’ve been unable to find those guys for years. TEs actually been very capable of finding.

Right because we had Goedert and he was reli9able,now not so much,we brought in FA"s not a draft pick to develop. if you want your future TE you need to draft him, unless you get really lucky in AF

You are the one keeps harping on easy to find a slot guy thoughts…which it hasn’t been for us by the way..at all.

Right why you need the TE threat on the RIGHT side, which is the side you run at most. A slot guy isn't going to run all the way over to be of any help

I weigh TE's higher that slot guys obviously you disagree NP. Slot guys are a dime a dozen good TE's are not

I’ve said like..every time…to draft a TE in this deep class with plentyof options.

Why not take the best one if you are already losing Goedert?

OK I will look for the Higgins pick in round 2 GL

Having a threat at receiver does open up the rushing attack. You gotta consider things a bit deeper than just mauling opponents in The Brotherly Shove

I just can’t help but to keep considering that that third WR might be more important than a stud TE. I mean of course I want Kelce or Gonzales TEs. Those guys don’t block though. Pretty much big WRs. But couldn’t we be just fine without an elite TE…but just a decent TE.  I mean…would a downgrade there, especially in the receiving department, hurt us worse than if we get downgraded losing Smitty or AJ?

Wasn’t when AJ was out the main games you were complaining about changing our whole O and approach about this past season? That and the very first possession of the entire season throwing out of our own endzone in the new O.

We were at his pro day…even though his HC is now our QB coach

https://phillysportsnetwork.com/2025/02/27/nfl-combine-eagles/ Just not feeling WR in this draft at all,but GL with Higgins. OH I see we DID meet with Miller

I’m not hating on TEs or anything. I’m just not so close minded to refuse to consider the benefits and possible scenarios of need for a quality WR.

Odds are clearly pointing towards this being our choice

We're looking at TE's in rounds 2 and 3

What odds,we didn't even have a visit with him LOL. He's not the best, not close. He's ok if we miss on others

I seriously doubt we take Higgins. Never said otherwise. Doesn’t make it a poor idea though. Just like how I was in favor a getting the best RB we could…and not ignoring LBs and S. Adjusting and regressing those philosophers really worked out for us…like I was suggesting for years.

We hired his HC and sent a bunch of scouts to his Pro Day.

There are many that are very high on this small school kid.

I could be wrong too, looks to me like we are targeting OL first

We hired his HC…yet still went scouting his Pro Day. Showing serious interest if you ask me.
