LOL I have no bias. I picked out many WR's when we NEEDED them. JJ, Smitty. I know you liked Dotson in FA, I did also and he is fine for 2-3 targets per game. ASMith was disappointing for me and I said so. I have no touted a TE in the draft since I wanted Pitts LOL. How is that bias?

I just can see different ways to go about achieving our goals. For me another WR would go a long ways towards making it that much more difficult to stop us. That’s short term…but also has plenty of long term great benefits as well.

We need a TE to get mor than 2 receptions. Goedert is now having trouble staying on the field and Cal is a fine blocker but he is no TE1. We also now have Dillion who can also catch besides Bark. Find a Sot WR in round 4 and I could go along with that. I will spend high draft capital on the outside WR's not the slot guy

We have  been trying a bunch to find that other guy. I did suggest trading for Dotson because we had failed so much. I even believe Dotson is coming on more. Not enough to go blind to any other options though.

Hurts was really trusting and getting established with Wilson before he got hurt and ASmith got hurt so he was late on the learning curve. I would wait until next year and see if these guys pan out,we still have Dotson. I would get my future TE now, maybe a slot next year if no one steps up

Calcatarra is a receiving  TE more than he is a blocker

Higgins can play X(that is outside) and Slot

I think so because i believe both Goedert and Calcaterra are playing their last year here....and probably Goedert is traded.  I think we need to find the starter in the draft or trade for a younger guy.

Not too mention how I keep mentioning taking a WR doesn’t ban you from taking a TE later. Which is exactly what I’m suggesting to most likely do…in this nice depth TE draft class.

Goedert had less than 500 yards and 2 TDs. I think we could replace that with an upgrade WR and shifting to Calc and a rookie. Heck…even of the yardage Goedert did get…most of it was on those YAC Creation plays…easily transferred to others. Shipley, a WR…..

First…a bit frustrating to keep typing the same things over and over again because you are deliberately misquoting my thoughts.

Second: ver and over o keep stating very clearly Higgins can play X and the Slot. Which is a great value for us. Then we can move our WRs around instead of always playing the same spot. Not just that…but motion them after lining up because of this versatility we’d possess. Be huge!

 Third: we’d be fine with Calcatteara. But still can and will draft a TE in this deep class of TE options.

The passing game will be LESS because lord we have BARKLEY as the basis of our offense

Yet we’ve been unable to find those guys for years. TEs actually been very capable of finding.
