April 1, 20251 yr "Right now, he's on our football team," Sirianni said as transcribed by Berman. "Dallas Goedert has meant a lot to us. We'll see how that plays out. He's a heck of a football player, heck of a leader. We want to have back as many guys as you possibly can, but that's not the reality of the NFL."

We booted Ertz mid season too LOL

Calcatarra can handle being the starter with a rookie addition being made. We can get a good look out of however many different guys….but really third TE spot should be for a top blocker

We need to see what we have. 6 guys to pick from, Calc is OK. IDk what the others bring to the table. Perhaps Howie feels that position is covered. We DID have 2 TE;s in and I'm sure we talked to some at pro Days, but not sure if it's a pressing need or not at this point. I forgot the name of the TE the Raiders leaned on alot before, but the guy we got from them wasn't asked to do alot,so either he will be a great addition or another cut LOLÂ

I think it's STUPID the team owner can't decide what unis he wants(or the fans) Who the EFF is the NFL to make these moronic decisions? If I want my team in pink Tu Tu's that should be MY call not the NFL pencil pushers. This really pisses me off
April 1, 20251 yr Both teams will now be guaranteed a possession during overtime in the regular season, but the OT period will only be 10 minutes long. Under the previous regular-season rule, the team that got the ball first could win the game by scoring a touchdown on their first possession, but that's no longer the case

April 2, 20251 yr Author Another idea. Howie pulls out of round 1(trade down) selecting Donovan Jackson(OG/swing T), then trades up from 64(use a 5th if you have to) into the mid 40's selecting Darius Alexander-DT-Toledo. Round 3 Charles Grant-OT(let him sit behind Lane and learn and play a few garbage time snaps) Round 4-Nohl Williams-CB 5)Tyler Baron-edge 5)Jay Higgins-LB, 5)Kalel Mullings-RB 5)Donte Thornton-WR. We could move up for a better edge or a young TE with a Goedert trade.(seems the rumor is the Jets could be interested in him)Â
April 2, 20251 yr Author Jackson would be a great first pick, you have your G for the future and he has played at LT(I'm sure he could play RT also) so you have your G and with it you have your BU T for either side. It would be an intelligent move
April 3, 20251 yr Signing RB A.J. Dillon: "Talented guy, out last year with an injury, seems healthy, determined to succeed. He's a great complement to the guys we have here – obviously, Saquon is in a league of his own and we drafted Will Shipley last year and we're very confident in Will with what he did last year as a personal protector on punts having never made a tackle in his life and playing as well as he played on special teams, and then when he had time on the field at running back he had a couple of long runs and we are excited to see what he can do." Maybe Green works. If not then neither are the long term solution and Howie won't settle for a 2nd rate Oline and drafting a future rookie would make sense either way. He is also a swing T which could help if Lane starts to run out of gas

Not real promising. It was a strange trade. Sounds to me like Houston was glad to see him go. IDK they must know something I don't(which seems highly likely). I still like Jackson for the longer term after dropping back into 2 with an added pick, or we take him at 32 and while there are no guarantees with Jackson, there seem to be none with the other 2 either. RG still a GAP for me as of now
April 3, 20251 yr Signing TE Kylen Granson: "You're always looking at guys who remind you of people, and we had a tight end in the past that we had a lot of success with in Trey Burton, and Kylen has a similar body type and similar athleticism and we thought that about him coming in through the NFL Draft (2021, fourth-round pick by Indianapolis) and we think that about him now."
