But guys can be subpar overall. They can not fit into your stereotypical fit for his position. Really need to identify what any player can add to the team. If it’s ST and just be a few plays every other game at FB? That’s value. Gottta build a complete team. Having three RBs that are all similar doesn’t fill out team needs for every matchup. Having all the same type LB or S the same. Need specialists and guys that bring something else to the table.

Well we got a bunch of both in to sort through. Out of 6,7,8 TE's we will end up with 3. Same with RG. Howie is a "draft and replace" guy, so if you wan to know Howies first pick decide who needs replaced the most(which to me would be DT,edge, maybe CB) yet the most guys we brought in were OT's. Fangio wants to keep DeJean at S, so there is a little cue we could be looking at a CB. I DO like the Cal kid they brought in, IMO he would be a steal in 4. Not a starter now but maybe next year he could be.

That’s why you, No Mas and a few here freaked out because I suggested not keeping Gainwell if Shipley appeared he’d obviously surpass him during the season. Have that short yardage physical back as the third RB. You both just couldn’t get past the thinking of just third best at the position should make the team. That really isn’t what’s needed. Especially the way the game has evolved. Need so many specialists. That fourth S needs to be good at deep coverage. Or zone ….or whatever you feel the starters weakness maybe is. The lesser overall player can be the better option.

Gains was used in the PASSING game as a situational RB/scat back. Do we have that guy now? That's why we are looking at Jaydon Blue. We don't need 3 RB's who can only run gaps LOL

But Siri wasn’t just trying to glorify Hurts with TDs. They tried several times to hand off to Saquan. If he wasn’t busting it to the corner….he really wasn’t scoring. We HAD to give Hurts the ball to score. Sanders, Swift, Saquan with Gainwell the other option this whole time. None of these guys were goaline scoring threats. They actually all had that as a weakness. You always scream it’s all Oline. But same Oline. The starters all three could take it to the house from deep.

Last season at RB these were my thoughts. Needed that complimentary RB more than just third best overall. Many times back in the day that third guy was a scat back pass catcher. But now starting RBs have to catch. Saquan struggles powering through short yardage. FL you got so spoiled. You just kept demanding anybody bit Hirts get the TD stat.

I "demand" nothing, but it's nice if Hurts doesn't HOG the ball all the time. Like Bark said, other guys need to eat. if they get no stats they go away

Since Hurts became the starter here we are top 3 scoring TDs in the Redzone.

Our TE Goedert wasn’t a very good redzone threat either.

Smitty is better than any finesse tiny WR has been in the Redzone. But nothing you’d label a big redzone weapon.

3 of those 4 are ot built for GL carries. Bark can do it, Dillon can do it. Can't just run Tush Pushes all day. Yes they work but you aren't letting other guys eat and without stats they get CUT

O line TD!!!!!!

Gainwell ran hard. But he wasn’t a power back. He wasn’t a Redzone receiving weapon either.

Point is yes…Dillon can. The others all proven that was a weak area for them.

How many RZ targets did he get last year?

Hard to know, no plays were called for many others Hurts just ball hogged. it's fine,I will take the score but let's not pretend he gave others chances

Sorry…but they really tried to reward Saquan a few times after he got us down there. But he couldn’t really do it. I remember several different games even with back to back Barkley goaline carries. He failed on. We weren’t scoring TDs without Hurts doing it.

Hurts legs and the Oline are great. The other QB's didn't leg press 600 pounds

RBs weren’t good goaline backs. TE wasn’t a redzone threat. One main WR was slight. So he wasn’t out physical long anybody or jump balling.

How many RZ targets did Smitty get last year? Or Goedert,or anyone not named Hurts?

How do you explain our league elite O at scoring TDs in the Redzone since Hurts became starter?

Smitty awesome. How can you make any case he’s strong as a Redzone target?

AJ is the one other weapon than Hurts.

The single one….whole O. And he wasn’t here in 2021 yet when this domination even began.
