So the draft. I really can only give Rosie the assist on the three defenders taken first. Fangio had the power…as we’ve just witnessed for good reason. Fangio should be head of D draft.

Add FA signings and trades…pretty much everything concerning the D. Rosie can pass along his mega analytics department pages…Fangio probably used them to light his stove. I think Rosie did come off really brilliant by waiting and having Q fall to him. I don’t think it was all about that as the plan. Think Rosie wasn’t too hyped on the pick. DeJean was everybodies fall back plan it seems. I signed off on him …thanks to TD educating me fairly early in the draft process. My holdup revolved around could DeJean play outside? I didn’t want to take him unless everybody was convinced he could. But my thinking there is outdated. Slot is huge in today’s game. Arguably the most important spot in many ways. Can control so much. Both O and D. I always liked DeJean…I just had some alarms always go off when everybody touts his versatility. I love versatility…but so many times it’s used as the key trait in players that actually don’t have a position. They can kind of do some parts of several different positions decent…kind of thing. Plus Q was my guy. Just how I was seeing that draft.

Will Shipley in the fourth I have no doubts about. Great draft pick by Rosie. Did Siri get hands on with him? Haven’t really heard he was Siri’s guy…like Gainwell. Just hopefully Siri maxes this kid out. He’ll reward him for doing so. I actually believe he’s ready to be a starting RB. Well …not above Saquan ever.

Dylan McMahon didn’t make the team. So wasted late pick. Whatever.

Then we got Ainias. Rough go of things right from the start with that kid. Not seeing his career based on just his rookie season. But not feeling it. Might not make the team. YAC Creation he should be plug and play at though. Gotta have something to be involved to make the team this year. Terrible rookie season…it happens. But he’s no Diamond in the rough potential. Just try and see if he can stay healthy..learn a few routes and catch the ball. Can we get there year two?

Trot…that was Lurie demand. How o see it. Lurie cried and got so emotional being able to draft him. Meant more than money to the very wealthy man that has everything.

Keegan. Incomplete. I’m optimistic. But didn’t see him do anything.

Johnny Wilson. Just looking like yet another wasted pick by Rosie on a WR. He just keeps throwing wishes down that well. The later round WRs aren’t ever turning out. So just stop wasting them. You aren’t good at it…we can’t  develop WR. Maybe both. Siri main background was WRs though. Confusing. Twenty or so guys we brought in …one should have been developed to something. That can’t all be lemons. Though that’s his track record clearly.

Just to make sure we balance things out…or more like throw the scales dominating in Rosie’s favor…he signed a RB…not just a RB…but greatest all time rushing season Saquan! I never thought he’d bend and pay a RB. It’s a miracle! Boy what a payoff to get out of that bad football theory/roster building philosophy holdup.

How much you want to bet Jerruh will draft a RB for the Cowboys? Not saying first round…but won’t be day three.

Steelers having Dart in for a visit. Not good for my trade plans. Browns probably have to get in front of the Steelers to get him. Dart is going to win out this draft. He’s ok…I like him. But none of these QBs are round one worthy. Cam…has some great things to work with. Number one overall? Poor Titans…bad season to reap the rewards of their suck-a-tood. Big pass rusher has an injury. So it’s really the Travis Hunter draft. Who else is really worthy of totally a top elite player? Honestly…I wouldn’t trade Q or DeJean for Hunter even. But that kid can probably do about anything he tries. Going to be exciting…watch him make great plays…then bad supporting cast in Cleveland fumble it away and fail to score TDs. But they do have a strong D. Hunter everybody says is elite CB right away. But in Cleveland? He almost has to play O. Just design three trick plays for him and run one each series.

Everybody is coming up with trade ideas for Huff. Basically how much money a team takes on is more important than the pick. 7th rounder in 2040…but please take some money off our books. Do you all agree? You choosing higher draft pick? Or who takes the most money on?

Heck…not like it’s really much of any option. What’s the highest pick you think anybody will give for him? 6th? We seriously should consider giving any team that takes on a bunch of his money our sixth round pick…for him. Actually feels like the situation. But don’t think Goodell will let us do a trade where we give a pick for a team taking our player. Anybody got a head on the official rules for this crazy scenario we’ve found ourselves in? Can two teams trade…with one team giving up no player or draft pick? We give a pick…for you to take him off our hands. Easily give a 6th for any cap space free team that can afford to do that for us. You know…have to be one of those crappy teams…we give them a player and they pay his bills. What else are the crappy teams good for? They should bring some value to the league. It’s their duty and role in the NFL to carry our sweaty towels and take on bad contracts. Then they have a role…instead of just stealing the high draft picks all the time. Myles Garrett career hasn’t been seen. Nobody watches the Browns. I lived there and rooted for them even. But I can’t watch that crap. They should be forced to take on some bad players for the elite champion teams. Well…it’s just us now!

That last sentence…it’s just is now! I really feel like we are the team to beat. Wasn’t a one year lucky break. We have a dominant dynasty setup here. Our only major question mark is O coaching. That obviously is a big one. I’m kind of pissed we didn’t hire an established top OC. We had a very attractive job opening. Should have had our pick. Kept Patullo right as Passing coordinator/right hand man…well left hand man…because right hand man with the Eagles we all know is Big Dom!!

The incessant rambling, Hurts ball polishing, and arrogance got to me. It's been a nice day for me 🤣. So Joe, which position is most needed to fill or BU in this draft. I'm kind of falling away from a high TE pick. Seems to be DT or edge would be the top choice if there is a good one available that late. I still feel a pull back from 1 into 2 is the best play. Just 1 or 2 spots(aka very early 2). Only other way is if we make a lift in round 1,which I know Howie would do to get the player he wants. I know we got a CB in for a year, but could be we take a CB for the long term aspect?. IDK we have alot of options and I have no clue what Howie is thinking. Just wondering what's on your mind here as whatever that choice is will affect the rest of the draft. We could be waiting all night to be disappointed LOL

It's going to be DT or edge. I've called it since the beginning lol.

Kind of weird though that the bulk of the visits were OT/G's and most of tho0se were round 3

Nothing wrong with this kid, can play in or out. His main problem was LACK of targets so he would feel right at home in our slot(LOL)

So now you have AJ's BU and a slot performer also. if AJ gets hurt, this kid goes outside and we still have slot guys available

Sorry, but I really love this one. You got some immediate needs addressed, an OT who can learn behind the best, you have a nice CB to bring along, maybe even see a little time during the season, a new LB that looks good to me to add in with Trotter, a young TE who has time to develop, a neat Little RB who can do returns right off and be worked into some 3rd down pass plays and a solid WR that brings you AJ's BU as well as a slot role. I see no downside to this one

So what if you took a different approach to how you would prioritize our draft agenda? What if…you were prioritizing based on getting these guys top coaching from coaches that will be leaving and not around for us in the future? It’s short term…and long term thinking approach here.
