Developmental rotational backup at several jobs

I’m assuming he is going to be an end in our scheme and Milton was only 290…. Plus looks like he should be able to add to his frame maybe not day 1 starter but definitely should be alright in a rotation

Curious how you define and End with Fangio

I’m using general 34 defense logic so when I say end it’s similar to Carter and Milton last year…. Not an edge like Nolan or Sweat or a NT like Davis

Draft grade- C- and I'm being generous

Most of the things I’ve seen on our new rookie DT is he has a quick first step and explosive…. Doesn’t quite have the size yet but feel like it’s lot easier to add to his frame then to teach that kind of explosiveness and not like he has to start day 1

Smaller…so he’s a little quicker and can play multiple roles. Fangio got some versatile DLine depth player. Ceiling looks to be backup level.

I hope Kendall, our new C, can run patterns

End in 3-4. Yeah it’s tricky. Run Nickle the most. But Fangio has been a part of the hybrid days of NFL D. We always talked about two years to switch from 4-3 to 3-4. Now you better be ready to play all of it on the fly.

I think both LB and S improved. I also think that DT got a lot better 3rd-4th rotational player. I think both CB and LB depth was a question and was addressed. We also picked up a G/C to compete late which we always do.

He is 6’5 if the dude can keep his quickness and explosiveness and add to his frame say 300-310 are we still worried about him being small????

Again dude is 288 Milton was 290

See I thought of Sweat as DE. Seemed to kind of have that role mostly. I don’t have enough wisdom to really understand what’s happening all the time.

Rosie draft philosophy is out. Good riddance. Drafting CBs, LBs and S under Vic. Just so clearly makes a difference. Vic was taking this kid at S…or maybe one or two other players. He ditched Ceedy Duce knowing the draft was where he could find his guy. He’s setting up not just a talented D. He’s setting up players he wants to coach and be around. As long as Fangio stays fresh and engaged…he should kick butt.

Not really that tricky the jobs we ask might change but at the end of the day Carter/Milton were considered ends on our depth chart since our defense was a 34… just easiest to classify guys based on our defense scheme so when I say end it would mean he playing a similar role as to our ends Carter/Milton(now Orjomo) as opposed to the edges like Sweat and Nolan last year

Pick 1- excellent, pick 2-REACH rest of draft-WHIFF. Sugar coat it all you want. Just horrible

Yeah because we couldn't move the ball last year 🙄

Shouldn’t we idk wait and see how the kids do before saying the draft was horrible????

Good riddance to O line depth?

That’s what’s tricky-our scheme. He runs some hybrid and split concepts. One guy is doing 3-4 while another is 4-3

Nickle is every team’s base. DE in that is 4-3 still from most any viewpoint. Dime 4-3 front also

ALOT of work to do. We'll see. Can't trade Goedert now even if we wanted to. We all said that was a need-fail. I hope we plan to blitz LB's alot because thats what we drafted

He goes to a 5-2 actually frequently.

Hasn’t our OL depth always come from later round guys that Stout coached up??? Outside of the starters almost all our depth has always been later round picks

By frequently …I mean in games we actually change the playcall up unlike the SB hahaha

We have that. I’ve been listing it all along.

We need to run the 35 now because that's what we got now
