Why do we care about 19,20 and 21?

Just explaining my completely different way of thinking than one step and one game at a time.

Patullo does worry me but not because I think our offense is going to change we are going to run the same things we have ran since 2021…but that lack of play calling that sense of when to call plays and stack play calls etc. we got from the more proven Moore and Stiechen

Apparently Lurie thinks he's ready to take the reins or he wouldn't have been promoted

Those teams I didn’t get uptight about at all. Never was anything really on the line. Sucks any week we lose. But wasn’t just one thing that could be fixed or screwed up concerning the Lombardi.

No issue with the guy getting promoted or given the chance I thought Brian Johnson was the right decision to give a chance as well….just stating the part that I have some concerns about

This is the obvious inevitably we face(d). Siri as HC means we won’t have the O mind. Best case scenario Patullo was provided what he needed to succeed. Which leads to him being poached. Over and over…new O…every dang year.

And you know before 1 snap that Patullo is not an O mind? Everyone under the sun has a "first day". he's been here awhile, deserves a promotion. if he can't handle it a change will be made, but good god let the guy have his chance. everyone who is "proven" had a first day

1 step at a time is how every team functions. I fail to understand why this is beyond your comprehension

Not really I’d say it’s been a pretty good offseason compared to most teams trying to repeat.

Core of the O is in place 4/5 OL all the same top 3 WRs the same QB the same RB the same

Majority of the defense is the same Carter/Davis we lose Milton it’s next man up why we have orjomo for. Secondary 3/5th the same… LBs Dean/Baun the same

I watched KC have to completely reshape the OL one year than have to mismatch WRs two other seasons and that isn’t even talking about the changes they had on D. Look at NE over the years with Brady and all the WRs that were in and out RB changes, coordinators leaving D changes

We lost by far more than any other team. Just no version you can spin we are a better team than last season. Clearly lesser. But I do believe you make a key point to not be overlooked. We weren’t a team that mortgaged the future achieving the ultimate goal on the backs of old players finally reaching the pinnacle. We lost so much…..but I’m hearing you tell me…what we lost? We could afford to lose. Those players and coaches weren’t the catalyst for our success.

It was 1 thing, we took the game away from Hurts and made him a game manager and he shines doing that. After the bye week last year it turned our team and season around. now we can't be stopped. I said before the SB KC was running into a buzz saw and I made a boatload of money off the naysayers LOL

So the pass rush may be less than last year and??????? The secondary is solid and we have multiple ways to attack on offense. Keep the ball control and TOP and we are very hard to beat even now

Reminder-we put up 70 points during the season with BACK UPS

This is true. Compared to teams repeating instead of teams currently facing in the NFL. Most champs lose much more key pieces than we suffered. We took a huge hit across the board. But Hurts, Smitty, Carter, Q and DeJean are perfectly seasoned superstars going forward. That core will drive us for years ahead. Young…and that SB winning season culminated in our young core reaching that milestone as pros.

It's back a ways but I had Antwaun Powell-Ryland in the 4th and Williams in the 3rd lol

Yes you did have him in several of your mocking attempts. He was the player I compared to FL’s first round Edge suggestion also. I pointed out how the gap was across the board just a half inch of height and a tenth of a second in the forty. 3rd was way too high. I had him leading the pack if my round five huge group of Edge players this draft had provided. Clearly a sweet spot.

Hard to believe this kid wasn't drafted. He is going to make waves

I thought the draft was fine but i also don’t stress the names I like to take the 2-3 years approach before I judge a draft.

I thought we fill some areas of concern now it’s just can we develop the guys we drafted

I’m very much looking at things for our organization for the next two years. Winning again the next two seasons is most all that matters now. NOW is the time to mortgage the future and go completely All In!

We bished about getting younger, we did, now it's time for those young guys to step up and keep the Lombardi here. Every year we get young guys in, some emerge to take their rightful place on this team . I'm looking forward to a repeat. Barkley is a one man mob and our secondary is maybe the best in the league. Barring alot of injuries I'm looking for another SB with a coach that should have been fired 2 years ago and a new OC and new staffers. Every team changes EVERY year. We set the gold standard of how to build a team and others are following suit. This was a weak draft, Howie did the best he could with only 10 players that earned round 1 grades. Drafting 32nd was an AWFUL place to be. I want to be there next year too 😁

Obviously fielding an old slow team had no future. That’s exactly something to b17ch about.

See this is our draft approach..I agree. We got some guys that can become system depth players for Fangio for some years going ahead potentially. Not really making us better to win the SB these next two crucial seasons. Disappointing. More just longer term practical.

Do I think we had the best draft no. Matter of fact I like Dallas draft better than ours.

We improved the team imo. 2 probable starters, rotational depth at DT, depth in weak areas LB, CB, and OL, and some developmental prospects that could be studs.

You can’t make any reasonable statement that we had the best draft of any team. We didn’t get anything. A LB that nobody really thinks is a stud….teams didn’t draft over his injury concerns. We got that guy. Reached big time to add a S addressing a clear team need. Then a bunch of massively development prospects. Blurred line between those draftees and undrafted players really.

The core of our O scheme has literally been the same since Siri got here lol some wrinkles added here and there by Moore but it’s been mostly the same thing.

Literally the only thing stiechen and Moore did was have a much better feel for when to call plays which is huge for a play caller but the O hasn’t changed much since Siri put it in place back in 2021

Dude…what hindsight should have been pointing out so clearly was how nonexistent Siri’s scheme was. How can you possibly look back throughout Siri’s time here as HC and believe differently?

Steichen took the hinderance of Siri’s O and worked magic from his experience at the job. I don’t even know what you are talking about in this entire post. Jaw dropped that you actually believe this. Moore’s weakness was calling plays, in fact. The exact opposite of your bad assessment here. So many key plays were after Hurts audibled out of the bad playcall. What Moore did was develop a scheme for Siri. Moore could coach…or teach us really what that part of the job is to the players. Moore’s playcalling was terrible….but what he did was teach Hurts how to do everything a QB needs to run the O to deal with when you aren’t working with a great play.

What the heck have you been watching all this time? Not trying to be a d13k…but yeah I guess I am to help you understand our situation actually this whole time. Our whole O didn’t read and react to the D. Moore brought in an O where every single player is adapting according to what they are facing. Night and Day difference!

Winningest coach we have ever had, but Ham wants to change that lmao

That’s a weak argument to prop Siri up based mostly on the accomplishments of others surrounding him. He wasn’t the catalyst and reason for those wins. More of a hinderance holding back so much amazing players from producing near their capabilities. I’ll give credit to Siri starting mostly this last season. I believe he earned his chops last year. He became a real HC during the difficult course of last season.

Moore stunk at playcalling. Siri too. So Patullo is our only hope this season. We totally developed and added so much since 2021. I mean really…it took all these years and finally Moore just for us to run Playaction. I ran Playaction in Pee Wee football when I was QB.

So let's see what he does before you pass judgement, before one snap has been taken?

I’m passing judgement on what he’s accomplished for us so far on the job. Think that’s fair. Not sure how you’ve shared any opinions that weren’t super critical about our Passing game. Seems like it’s been the exact main area of your bashing in fact. Over and over you’ve complained about our passing. Now I do realize you’ve blamed Hurts…in your HurtsHating attempts. Reached status of labeling it the KISS O. Seems like the last person you’d believe earned the lead position would be the Passing Game Coordinator himself.
