2022 everything couldn’t have gone better for us. GM completely ignored S group all together. An undrafted white kid steps up. Saints are giving away CGJ. Giants are laying Bradbery in our laps. Lions throw Swift at us. On and on….only thing that seemed could be in our way was ourselves. Our crappy P getting injured was almost some gift. Screaming to move on to anybody better. Best roster around the league just being blessed with the perfect needed additions from across the league. We keep a 4th RB that didn’t even have much potential and never amounted to anything on that squad? One play away from glory it all comes down to that season. Thats what gets me the most worked up and uptight.

So let’s be clear about our team and current circumstances. We are WorldChamps! Looking to repeat. We lost the most quality players of any team….not even by a small margin. In doing so it meant we couldn’t add FAs as it would spoil our Comp pick gains in return. We lost our O mind that clearly made such a huge difference in every way about that whole side of the ball.

So in this setting of an All In/Win Know contending team….we lost a whole lot. How does anybody think this draft is going to really help our mission to bring home another parade…in these next two seasons?

We have the " O mind" understudy. Why panic until you see what he can do?

Great off season for the glory of this past season. Winning that SB wasn’t a moment that was important and meaningful just that minute…five minutes…day…season….winning that SB brings that eternal pride and joy. The rest of ours lives we’ll have that.

I’m not as critical actually of teams and seasons that just don’t have a real potential and expectation. As you’ve all probably noticed I get the most hypercritical and nitpicking the closer I feel our team is.

2019,2020 and 2021 teams were never going anywhere as far as legit contenders. 19 and 20 just frustrating with how downhill everything was completely sliding. 2021 we had no cap room. We had a rookie HC in over his head. Not a very talented team. Young first time starting QB. Season started out like trash. Simply put: team was at the point of total garbage. 2-5 coming off a 4 win season. Expectations of contending? Didn’t exist. That team I really enjoyed to just root for to succeed at that point. Good group of young players easy to cheer on. I wasn’t feeling any needs to nitpick that rock bottom situation for our Eagles. Simply a situation that we witnessed a core of such strong character competitors rise and overcome. Just get hot…go on a run. That team Hot? That’s what they needed to beat the lower teams in the league even. Highest expectation possible was a true underdog story of a crap team that overcame it all to just make the playoffs.

Why do we care about 19,20 and 21?

The guy who’s been here the whole time as Siri’s right hand man when they failed to do all that for years? Of all things about our organization you believe what’s hasn’t been failing us was the Passing Game Coordinator?

I’m not looking to be all doom and gloom or anything. We still have a heck of a team. But the reality has to be : it’s been rough offseason concerning the goal of repeating.

Not really I’d say it’s been a pretty good offseason compared to most teams trying to repeat.

Core of the O is in place 4/5 OL all the same top 3 WRs the same QB the same RB the same

Majority of the defense is the same Carter/Davis we lose Milton it’s next man up why we have orjomo for. Secondary 3/5th the same… LBs Dean/Baun the same

I watched KC have to completely reshape the OL one year than have to mismatch WRs two other seasons and that isn’t even talking about the changes they had on D. Look at NE over the years with Brady and all the WRs that were in and out RB changes, coordinators leaving D changes

With Siri as our HC I guess this is our reality. We won’t have a great O mind. Best we can hope for is a decent O mind making a one season pit stop lifting us up. The positive view I attempt is that Moore was exactly what was needed to coach our players and coach our coaches. He created a scheme for Siri and Patullo. Patullo spent all last offseason working with Moore was my understanding. Going forward we are relying on Hurts and Siri to run with what they’ve been taught and given by Stechein and Moore. Now we have that foundation.

We bished about getting younger, we did, now it's time for those young guys to step up and keep the Lombardi here. Every year we get young guys in, some emerge to take their rightful place on this team . I'm looking forward to a repeat. Barkley is a one man mob and our secondary is maybe the best in the league. Barring alot of injuries I'm looking for another SB with a coach that should have been fired 2 years ago and a new OC and new staffers. Every team changes EVERY year. We set the gold standard of how to build a team and others are following suit. This was a weak draft, Howie did the best he could with only 10 players that earned round 1 grades. Drafting 32nd was an AWFUL place to be. I want to be there next year too 😁

The core of our O scheme has literally been the same since Siri got here lol some wrinkles added here and there by Moore but it’s been mostly the same thing.

Literally the only thing stiechen and Moore did was have a much better feel for when to call plays which is huge for a play caller but the O hasn’t changed much since Siri put it in place back in 2021

Going back to the KISS offense was the best thing Siri ever did

I’m greedy. I desire more. I’d prefer we had that top O mind running our O. Coach capable of teaching working with our players. My worry is that we stop progressing. That Moore was the high point and we just hit a ceiling at that point. Not an O mind developing and mastering our O taking things to whole other levels that can only be accomplished in years. I worry we just live from the past.

The hope is that our O coaching and QB got the finishing pieces they needed to grow going forward. Take it a run now.

This is how you Have To Believe for our future success. Patullo was an understudy. He’s been provided the tools he needed.

I think that UDFA RB from FL will take the RB4 spot and I hope he does. If we let Dillon go he will be RB3. The little guy from Central Ark can be a fun 3rd down option in the passing game. I loved the Hollin Pierce UDFA grab, well done, he's a MONSTER and he could be a beast in 2 years

You desire more than a Lombardi? That's as far as you can go. Why change what works? Really moronic to do that. Do what works until it stops working

I want the HC that gets the team to win and Siri has done nothing but win here playoffs every year, 2 NFC championships, 2 SBs appearances,1 SB win

That’s with 3 different OCs(going on #4), 3 different DCs….

So let's see what he does before you pass judgement, before one snap has been taken?

Winningest coach we have ever had, but Ham wants to change that lmao

Patullo does worry me but not because I think our offense is going to change we are going to run the same things we have ran since 2021…but that lack of play calling that sense of when to call plays and stack play calls etc. we got from the more proven Moore and Stiechen

This is the obvious inevitably we face(d). Siri as HC means we won’t have the O mind. Best case scenario Patullo was provided what he needed to succeed. Which leads to him being poached. Over and over…new O…every dang year.

Moore showed us what was the correct way to run THIS offense. Patullo should carry that forward. Why would he change it all????

Or…Patullo proves not capable and stinks. Which leads to the same results of bringing in a new guy and new O also.

You whined when Steichen left, you whined when Moore left, you whined that Siri should be fired, yet we improved every year and went to the SB twice,so keep whining while they keep winning

Then Howie will make the change, but he wasn't promoted for no reason

The one part of the O that Moore brought that I hope we keep trying to develop and use more is the FB Van Sumeren.

Thought we started to use those sets a tad more right before his injury than obviously they went away when he got hurt…. Thought it was a nice change up for our offense
