There were several QBs to choose right at that moment also. Like Fields…and several guys. Rosie actually gave up more than any of the others ended up even costing for Pickett.Fields cost the Steelers $3,233,448, which was significantly more than Pickett’s $1,988,900. And the trade cost the Steelers a 4th Round pick … more than the late 5th that Pickett cost the Eagles.

Why is that noteworthy? So this point comes home to where Fangio totally no time for him to talk to the media….searches them out to make clear statement about Coop he wants in the Slot.

June 4, 20251 yr 2 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:Our whole O reads and adjusted to the D. Just in 2024 finally. That’s not just Hurts. Clearly whole O scheme. It wasn’t there fir three years.Wasn’t there before the 2024 Bye either.

Last season Siri( *the CEO) delegated the O to Moore and the D to Fangio. he allowed Moore to run whatever O scheme he wanted to. We went 2-2 and the O was not reaching the potential Siri wanted. 1/2 way through the Browns game Siri had had enough and at 1/2 time he dialed it back. Along comes the bye week, O line, Stoutland and whomever also suggesting the present offense was not working towards their collective strengths. Siri heard all sides and decided the pullback would work to the team strengths and calm Hurts down from his run and gun college days. The RPO faded and replaced by more play/action feeding into our running game. Hurts settles into the KISS offense, the errors stopped, the picks stopped, the bonehead panics stopped. The O line was doing what they do best, protecting the QB and opening holes for Barkley. The days of 40 passes per game ended in favor of 25 with more emphasis on the running game and our newly acquired stud RB. It was a franchise changing decision. The rest as they say is history. Hurts found an offense he could deal with and love and his confidence grew. I suspect we see a little more passing this year because the running game is now always an established threat. Hurts learned from many sources and culminated in a SB win. That is how I saw it last year. If that is bad coaching I will take Siri all day long. The coaching was so "horrible" we put up 70 points with BACK UPS proving to me we can win even without Hurts. This doesn't mean I hate Hurts but rather the coaching for me can stay as long as it wants to. This is MY OPINIONHere was my post a few (well many now) pages back, so Matt and I are on the same page. Ham, of course, disagrees

But Siri immediately walked that back to keeping good parts of his own O and terminology. So completey just wrong. Siri made Mooore create a whole new O.You have no proof of that. It is just a fantasy of yours.

Here's what I ant. get it doneStoutland and the O-Line went to Moore and Moore made the change. Sirianni wasn’t involved. It was a very open process that was well documented by Lane Johnson and others. Your fantasies are getting in the way of reality.
June 4, 20251 yr 2 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:So brand new O tested four games…exactly the sample to then adjust and evaluate things. Not a brand new O. It was the same high-risk O that Moore had run in Dallas.
June 4, 20251 yr 13 minutes ago, mattwill said:Fans? There is no evidence of more than one fan, you.Entire Eagles nation understood this was the situation. I mean you are arguing against such obvious overwhelming opinions Birds media and fans had…plus Rosie who drafted Hurtseven.

It was a surprise pick to all as we watched that draft. Howie saw something we didn't? Yet no you claim Howie wasn't a fan of him? Why would he select him in round 2 then?

So really should have been 3-1 team losing to Bucs in heat missing too many starters to injury that day.How did Sirianni lose the Atlanta game? I’m very interested to hear.
