But yeah…let’s just take giving up that much for Pickett after he proved out to not have what it takes. 3rd rounder for a QB that just has limitations. Frankly 3rd round pick in the draft straight out of college is too high. Always believed Pickett was just reach and forced to consider round one. Never was that guy.

Eagles fans overwhelmingly weren’t in favor of Hurts. Most all believed the acquired extra draft picks for next season were designed to go get a QB.

Gave up the steepest draft trade price to get Pickett out of those several options. That’s huge proof surrounding Rosie feelings about Pickett. A 3rd after a guy already proven to bust is really steep also. While we had Tanner already also.

See this isn’t relevant very much. I saw we had a decent backup though unproven in Tanner. So shouldn’t have been out of desperation.

Point here is surrounding Rosie and Pickett. All evidence totally showing Rosie would have taken Pickett in that draft…if Hurts didn’t accomplish the impossible in 2021.

Rosie got extra first round picks for 2022 draft. He scouted Pickett a ton. That draft class was terrible QBs. So terrible Pickett was actually the only guy to even look into. Then after proving a bust so fast…Rosie traded a third round pick to get him.

Third I find very significant. We won the trade. So clearly no other team bid higher than Rosie.
