So that reward was worth losing Fangio?

No it was not, but I repeat my prior question to you, "What would you have preferred them to do? Fire Gannon prior to the Super Bowl?

Unlike you I’ve obviously being paying very close detailed attention to the Eagles for years

And that detail included seeing Howie’s list. Not!

I wasn’t around this thread when you said that. So it is outside my scope of knowledge. If you want to go back and find your past comments on the subject and repost them here you will improve my knowledge.

Board changed and lost so much of those archives unfortunately. Those still around here could easily confirm my feelings…which feels like No Mas already did. But some just aren’t going to tell it like it is..just because it backs me up for being correct.

Which I exactly said myself…twice now in fact

Great response asking if I saw Rosie’s list when you replied to a quote stating exactly I’d never seen his list. Just brilliant!

Are you familiar with Rhetorical Questions?

That detail included going back to drafting BG

Yes S appreciation is definitely my opinion

That is clear, and I respect that. Others don’t have your high esteem for the position.

For the record, I’m closer to your opinion than those other opinions. But I do recognize that mine is only an opinion, nothing more, nothing less.

I’m fine with you calling my evaluation of things before they happened as appearing as 20/20 hindsight. Works for me!

Works for me too.

I’m saying it wiser for the Bengals to accept less trading Hendrickson to anybody but us. Ravens and Steelers would be a tough blow though.

Burrow will be just as mad regardless of where the trade goes. He simply wants Hendrickson to be a Bengal. Nothing more, nothing less.

Why is being correct important to you?

My garden beckons. I’m out for a couple hours.

You asked for me to dig up in the archives for YOU

So many reasons. Who wants to be wrong? But also just goes to such an extensive track record towards that I know what I’m talking about. Now if we were on a mechanic board talking about restoring Model T? I wouldn’t be able to offer anything outside of common sense

Not sure you understood this reference. When you return I can explain it to you..if you wish

No, I don’t care whether you provide proof of what you have said. Whether or not anyone cares is up to you and you alone. If you don’t dig it up what you have said is hearsay. Providing the provenance will move it beyond hearsay.

Do you ever watch Antiques Roadshow? The value of provenance is demonstrated on that program over and over again.

Being right or being wrong are only two of the possible options. If something isn’t really important, which is the case for 100% of the topics we discuss, then forcing a binary right/wrong polarization is simply a waste of time.

I love my Eagles, and bleed green blood, but I am very realistic that football is a game.

What also confirms the low value of our opinions is that they can not be monetized. Starbucks gives you and me not a penny toward a cup of coffee based on the right or wrong of our opinions.

You could place bets to monetize on some of these things…if that was your purpose. Nothing about being on here would be considered productive.

Hearsay I believe would be more second hand person telling you…instead of myself testifying towards the account of what I said

BG we drafted when All Pro S Earl Thomas was available before he was drafted by the Seachickens as the key component for The Legion of Boom Secondary

Amen to that, which is why I find your tenacity about ancient history … history that can never be changed … so bewildering and counterproductive.

15 seasons ago….

How can you highlight and then Amen…nothing productive….Then turnaround and call anything happening could be counterproductive? Just illogical and bizarre to think that way …curious to me

Have you heard of "consider the source” or "impeachable testimony”? In Court a witness talking about what they said or thought is subject to bias. No objectivity, only subjectivity. Now a video of you saying what you said, or a transcript of what you said, or minutes of what you said removes the impeachability.

So what happens tomorrow about anything today? Present becomes history. Future even repeats past history plenty. See you are just getting first few tastes of FL bad opinions. Wait until years of hearing about you’ve never seen Saturn before level comments from him.
