He has been outstanding, but no matter how you cut the cake, Safety is a much lower positional value position than almost every other position. FB is lower, and ILB is lower, Interior OL is lower, but Interior D-Line is significantly higher than Safety.

Qb would be the obvious number one position missing wherever you got that from. Probably just missing all that context there.

Rosie didn’t ever neglect pass rushers. Though I think our Edge players is looking like a weakness. Nolan just not durable enough…coming off such an extended long season …I believe this will be a problem this season. Can Jalyx show he can go out there for a full season? I really like both players. So don’t get that twisted.

You may be proven to be right. Time will tell. I share (some) of your concern about Edge. Fangio appears to be comfortable, and he has forgotten more than you and I will ever know. So I trust his judgment.

Things aren’t finished completely yet. We sure opened up a bunch of cap room for this season to be used. You might be jumping the gun about Fangio’s conclusions. Trusting his judgement I agree with.

The Bengals trading Hendrickson to us would be a huge issue for them. Burrow already flat out compared Eagles to his team unfavorably. So it happening exactly like Burrow stated…won’t be fixable. Burrow will get out of there. He might anyway…because it is the situation. But it proving out exactly like Burrow is thinking will speed up the process for sure.

It would only be an issue for them if they are into pecker measuring. If the choices for them are (1) to trade him to the Eagles, or (2) have him sit out the 2025 season while under contract to them, or (3) signing him to a massive extension (which they don’t have the cash needed to do, or the desire to do, then choice (1) is far and away the best choice for them.

They grabbed Ojulari and Uche…for specific niche roles.

So losing your franchise QB faith isn’t important you believe? Burrow exactly called his team out comparing to the Eagles with Hendrickson.

Like how he looked at Baun at thought he’d be a great pass rushing addition. Fangio responded back…he could be a great off ball LB.

And Howie was smart enough to (1) listen and (2) get out of the way.

Two for two.

Imagine Burrow statement being mad out proven correct and Burrow doesn’t force his way out of a franchise that can’t compete.

Hahaha…Gannon was already decorating his new office before the SB game. You mention the tampering..but then come right back around and ignore it happened. Unbelievable you did all this in one post

The NFL awarded the Eagles compensation from the Cardinals for the Cardinals’ tampering with Gannon.

Do you want me to provide the links documenting that evidence?

No a S was not on Rosie list…so very clear and obvious…with having never actually seen the list with own eyes

You saw Howie’s list?

You are very good at speculation and spin. Not so good with facts though.

So that reward was worth losing Fangio?

Unlike you I’ve obviously being paying very close detailed attention to the Eagles for years

Great response asking if I saw Rosie’s list when you replied to a quote stating exactly I’d never seen his list. Just brilliant!

How would BPA list ever just be one guy? Makes no sense. It’s a complete draft ordering..one guy…then the next…then the next,…and so on…

How would a BPA list ever be just one guy? I suspect by the time the Eagles drafted this year the other BPA players on their list were all gone and Jihaad Campbell stood alone, with the second choice being to trade the pick to another team.

However, I say that not KNOWING what the facts are about the Eagles Round 1 BPA list. I am speculating.

Which then goes from BPA to weighted BPA. But yeah I completely disagree about S being a low value position.

That is your opinion. I respect that opinion. The AAV data disagrees with you, but I don’t fully agree with the AAV data myself.

Yes S appreciation is definitely my opinion

No, the article and its underlying data analysis has both "with QB” and "Non-QB” versions. Since QB was almost surely not on Howie’s BPA list (for reasons you and I have discussed before), I chose to focus on the Non-QB portion of the article. QB is clearly and substantially the top AAV position.

But you can’t always Najee a trade just because it’s what you think is best for you. Often what you conclude could be the same obvious conclusion to others as well. BPA lists every player ranking them that are draft worthy. No ‘one guy’…best player available…one guy…then the next…and so on….key of the A in BPA…Available

I wasn’t around this thread when you said that. So it is outside my scope of knowledge. If you want to go back and find your past comments on the subject and repost them here you will improve my knowledge.

I’m fine with you calling my evaluation of things before they happened as appearing as 20/20 hindsight. Works for me!

If that is important to them they will choose Door #3 Monty.

I’m saying it wiser for the Bengals to accept less trading Hendrickson to anybody but us. Ravens and Steelers would be a tough blow though.
